Heard a rumour over the weekend that Dave Edwards could be on his way in from Wolves on loan...he's dropped out of favour at Molineux and wants regular first team football. Wages could be an issue though. I would have thought that Dave would want to continue to play at championship level to improve his chances of picking up more Welsh caps. Especially so given that Wales have their best chance in years of qualifying for the finals of a major tournament. that's what's on his mind too - www.expressandstar.com/sport/wolverhampton-wanderers-fc/2015/05/25/wolves-dave-edwards-is-looking-to-impress/Got another year on his contract I think - so we would have to cover some of the wages. Better option next year if he was released / not given another contract.

In my opinion Dave Edwards won't be signing on loan for Shrewsbury Town next season. You forgot to like your post - are you not feeling too well .

No chance. Dave Edwards played in 41 of Wolves matches last season scoring 6 goals, doesn't sound like he is out of favour there

Absolutely no chance of Dave Edwards joining us yet. Was speaking to a Wolves fan the other day and he's just had a great season with them.

Ex-Altrincham midfielder/striker Duncan Watmore, joined Sunderland a couple of years ago - had a loan at Hibernian last season and was awarded Premier League U21 player of the month for April 2015 - out of contract in 2016 but not broken through to their first team yet.
He's at the sort of stage where his career is in the balance and probably needs to be playing regular football - I certainly think he could be a decent (and versatile) first-team-ready acquisition in League One...

Newcastle have announced their release list. Whilst players such as Ryan 'over the wall' Taylor and Jonas Gutierrez are way out of our league obviously, they have released 2 young lads with plenty of potential in Adam Campbell (pacy forward who can play wide) and Remi Streete (Centre Half) - Wouldn't mind either here if JG, AM or JLAA don't sign up for another season.

Curtis Obeng has been released by Swamsea. Was highly rated at Wrexham, played 3 seasons in the conference and moved to Swansea for £200k, think he is a right back- had loans at Stevenage, Newport, Fleetwood. But didn't realise he is already 26 already. May interest MM.

Stoke city have released keeper Thomas Sorensen, midfielder Wilson Palacios and defender Andy Wilkinson. Palacios, 30, Sorensen, 38, and Wilkinson, 30, will all leave the club when their contracts expire on 30 June. Also Nine of the Premier League club's Under-21 squad will also leave, with their contracts not being renewed. Tomi Adeloye, James Alabi, Sam Coulson, Alex Grant, Robbie Parry, Nathan Ricketts-Hopkinson, Adam Thomas, Charlie Ward, Elliot Wheeler are the development players who are set to depart.

Years ago, when we had our more successful period, it was built on young players released by Celtic and Rangers. We had a scout who watched and found out who was being let go.

After watching Rangers on Thursday, I wouldn't want any of their first team!

Cross Chris Dagnall off our list.
He's signed a contract with Kerala Blasters in India!

I see Chesterfield have signed Sylvain Ebanks-Blake. Could be the signing of the summer, he should score loads in L1, assuming he is now fit

Personally in my opinion i think that andy wilkinson would be a good signing because he has made 11 appearances for stoke this season scored 0 goals picked up 2 yellow cards and 1 red card. He was also on loan to the town between 2004 and 2005.

Few more names to chuck in the hat: Matt Tootle - 24 year old Crewe RB, been first choice their for 4 seasons, looks likely he might be released. Good going forward but not great at the back, might suit RWB. Jeff Hughes - 29 year old left sided midfielder, just released by Fleetwood. Yay

Thought it might be a good idea to find out other supporters views as to who we might be interested in signing up for next season.
I'll start the ball rolling:-
David Perkins - Blackpool. (out of contract)
Mark Duffy - Birmingham. (1 year left on contract but not featured for B'ham)
Max Power - Tranmere. (out of contract)
Bobby Reid - Bristol City (very long shot this one as he's only 22)
Matt Tootle - Crewe (out of contract but has had illness and injury this season.)
Dean Cox - Leyton Orient (another long shot as he's based in London.)
Hey! I got one right!

Andy Williams would be a great signing. He plays up front or on the wing too. Netted 21 goals in League One for Swindon last year and apparently the likes of S****horpe and Bradford City are apparently going for him. He's also from Hereford and used to play for them, have a word with him GT

Andy Williams.
I could never stand those dreadful Osmond Brothers he always had on his show!
Incidentally, when I was last in LLandudno, Jimmy Osmond was billed to appear in a pantomime at the local theatre!
