Thought it might be a good idea to find out other supporters views as to who we might be interested in signing up for next season.
I'll start the ball rolling:-
David Perkins - Blackpool. (out of contract)
Mark Duffy - Birmingham. (1 year left on contract but not featured for B'ham)
Max Power - Tranmere. (out of contract)
Bobby Reid - Bristol City (very long shot this one as he's only 22)
Matt Tootle - Crewe (out of contract but has had illness and injury this season.)
Dean Cox - Leyton Orient (another long shot as he's based in London.)

Probably not that viable but if Huddersfield were interested in loaning out Joe Lolley I'd take a look.

Dagnall from relegated LO and Mcleod from relegated Crawley, both very good goal scorers... the latter may be out of our league financially

When does the transfer window open? And when will the STFC retained list be announced?
I'll assume that MM and MW will be as quick off the mark as this season! GT's procrastination cost us dear.

Very long shot but would like to see him in Blue and Amber - Jed Wallace Portsmouth 21 and 2 years of contract left.

I think Dagnall is a good shout. We've been in for him at least twice already and he will probably be looking to get out of a Division Two side.

I'm not entirely convinced about Mangan either. Good impact sub, but when he's started for us he's only been average.

I reckon it depends a lot on the meeting between Micky and Mark Williams with Roland this coming week and what funds are made available for salaries? Not of course withstanding the fact that irrelevant of the retained list, is if we lose players from that list such as Connor and Ryan, but I suspect that will open a whole new Pandora's box with monies that will come into the club.

Paddy McCourt recently released from Brighton, always looked a decent winger to me, however age may be against him with him being 33. Worked with Mellon at Barnsley also.

An extremely good dribbler of the ball, he can ghost past people with ease. If we signed him then he would have to play in Grant's position. Considering all things, I'd prefer that we signed Grant if that was the case.

That Roofe, currently on loan from West Brom to Oxford, looks useful.
Out of contract I think.

God knows who we will be interested in, would many have said last summer that Ellis, NKP, Lawrence and Wes were on our radar?

Isn't McCourt at Notts County or was that just a loan? Sure he came off the bench for them yesterday. Would have taken him like a shot for our last L1 campaign, not so interested now. Would like to see us bringing players in with a re-sale potential in mind, something we haven't overly excelled at in the past...or when they have had a value we've run the contracts down and lost them for free.

Josh McQuoid - due to be realeased by Bournemouth. Has played in L1 for The Cherries, Peterborough & Coventry...could play in the hole just behind a front two? Or Simon Church, out of contract at Charlton?

Not seen too much of him, but Piero Mingoia of Accrington looks a skilful midfield player.
Out of contract.

Haven't got a clue but trust MM to find players with Shrewsbury DNA to improve the side and the club further

Think you'll find he's just signed a new 2 and a half year contract with Fulham. So guess a move to GM is very unlikely unless on loan.

Cobblers just announced their retained list, and Chris Hackett has been transfer-listed. Scored their first down here, always looked sharp to me and has played Champ with Millwall. However like with McCourt wouldn't fit into the 3-5-2.
