The young lad Windass seems to be centre of everything that Accrington do from TV replays, although a quick check of Wiki and he's scored a lot less goals then I thought he had, bit of a stab in the dark to be honest as I've barely seen the lad play!
In other news, Nile Ranger has been seen at the ground buying the new home shirt so..

Delroy Facey and Trevor Benjamin for me. Maybe take a punt on Taribo West if we lose Connor

God knows who we will be interested in, would many have said last summer that Ellis, NKP, Lawrence and Wes were on our radar? If we have that kind of summer again we'll have a right old punt at league one. I think the income will happen first though, then we'll know what we have to play with.

Liked the look of Billy Bingham in midfield for D&R. Only 24 , but may be slightly injury prone, but if his injuries are behind him would be a cracking signing.

I think Dagnall is a good shout. We've been in for him at least twice already and he will probably be looking to get out of a Division Two side. I'll assume that if we sign him you'd be looking to get Vernon off the payroll? I would.
I'm not entirely convinced about Mangan either. Good impact sub, but when he's started for us he's only been average.
Yes, to replace Vernon. I'm sorry but he just hasn't done enough this season to indicate he can hack it in League One.

When does the transfer window open? And when will the STFC retained list be announced? I'll assume that MM and MW will be as quick off the mark as this season! GT's procrastination cost us dear. Transfer window officially opens on 9th June, but this is only for actual transfers. Most people under contract will have contracts until the end of June. However, players will know they are in/out of contract in next few weeks I would think and given that pre season training won't start for quite a while there isn't that much stopping clubs sorting it out well outside of the official windows.

Few potentials:
Anthony Grant - 27 year old CM out of contract at Crewe James Meredith - 27 year old attacking lb at Bradford, although I think he might have just signed a new deal. James tavernier - done very well at RB in L1 since leaving us and good going forward Alfie Mawson - centre back, had a terrific season at Wycombe on loan from Brentford, probably won't get a lot of game time there so might be looking to step up to L1 for a season long loan.

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas has been released by Bristol City.
Replacement should we release a forward or two?

Jack Redshaw from Morecambe would fit our bill nicely.

Does anybody know if Patrice Loko has found a club yet?
On a serious note, one of the best performances against Town this season was by that c*cky little gobsh*te Lawson D'Ath at Northampton. Might be worth having a look at him.
Other performances against us that come to mind are Adam Dugdale (Tranmere) Paris Cowan-Hall and Aaron Pierre (Wycombe) Kai Naismith (Accrington) Ricky Holmes (Portsmouth and Northampton) - although having signed a 2 1/2 year deal for Northampton in January, don't fancy our chances with this one.

Lee Beevers and Martin Riley.
Full-back Beevers, 31, made 110 appearances for the Stags since signing from Walsall in 2012.
Riley, 26, featured in 38 games for Mansfield this season, as they finished 21st in League Two.
Ricky Ravenhill, Alex Fisher, Sascha Studer, Simon Heslop and Michael Raynes are the other players leaving the club.

Durrell Berry, Craig Braham-Barrett, Troy Brown, Danny Haynes, Mathieu Manset, Matt Richards, Andy Haworth and Matt Gould will all leave when their current deals at Whaddon Road expire.
Trevor Carson, Jack Deaman, Omari Sterling-James, Matt Taylor, Lee Vaughan and Jamal Lawrence are listed.

With so many names being banded about some may well be correct. The truth is though we don't have a clue on MMs thinking and it is likely he will spring a few surprises in terms of next seasons squad.
