The next couple of nights matches will be massive for us even with out us playing. Most teams below us playing their games in hand will give us a much better idea of what we need from the next four games. Hopfully we will still be 6 points ahead by tomorrow night.

Even if all the results go against us we will still be a minimum of 5 points ahead as I see it.
Guess Burton are sweating even more about this weeks results.

Burton still have Fleetwood and Cheltenham to play so destiny should be in their own hands. 2 wins from those should probably be enough. But that looks a bit ask from a club who have got 2 points from their last 10 games. From my reckoning if Cheltenham win tonight it will be the first time out of the relegation places all season (barring the first 2 matches), after their dreadful start to the season.. Darrell Clarke has done a tremendous job to get them to this point

Bristol Rovers 0 Reading 2. Rovers are in dismal form.
And they still have to play both Cheltenham and Cambridge.

Cheltenham make 4 subs at half time, still no shots on target 😮 But Carlisle always likely to concede

Are the pessimists feeling a bit better right now? Cheltenham have to win 3 (out of 5) to go above us without us picking up any further points.
Big chance for Cheltenham tonight and they cant get a shot on target in 90 mins against the worst team in the division.
We are staying up, not because we are any good but because there are others much worse than we are.

Ah, but Cheltenham's next game is at home to Bristol Rovers, who haven't scored a single goal in their last 7 games.

Fleetwood and Cheltenham losing, couldn't have asked for better. Hopefully followed up with a Vale loss tomorrow. I really hope we put Wycombe away Saturday and put all this to bed.

Don’t rule out that last spot, Burton and Vale will pick up points and if we lose to Wycombe could be dragged back in it again. Need that win sooner rather than later….

Burton in torrid form, haven't won since Feb and last home win was January. Would be very surprised if they picked up 2 or 3 wins in their last 4 games.

The worry for me is still our inferior goal difference compared to all the other teams.
It would certainly help if Peterborough could put 4 or more goals past Port Vale tomorrow evening.
