Oh, and Hart was very poor too! Presumably brought on to replace Golbourne as the latter was incapable of beating a man and crossing the ball, but contributed nothing and looked awkward.

Reckon we could lose the reman8ng games and stills be safe. We can't be complacent, we have a lot of tough games remaining and need quite a few more points yet. The longer the win less run goes on the worse it will get, remember 2002/3, these things can get out of hand if they're not turned around sooner rather than later. No one who was there should ever forget 02/03.

There is no way whatsoever that 4,699 spectators were there. As usual, they've included all the season ticket holders, a fair % of which clearly weren't there. we had one stand with about 14 acrrington fans , two stand that were less than half full so i would be suprised if there was 3,500

Blimey, where to start.
Yet again, I feel sorry for Lang, Cummings and Udoh, they are either trying to do stuff own their own, or feed off scraps.
Love can't cross the road, solid defender, but awful in the final third. That cross that hit the DM Recruitment sign on the roof of the away end summed it up.
It got beyond moaning tonight. People were just taking the **** out of our players and SR.

from the start the lack of movment was poor , players looking for an out ball and town looked very static, players really looked like they did not wont the ball and when they got the ball looked as if they did not know what to do with it. is O'Leary injured ? if not it made no sense to play Murphy again as he had a por game against MKDons. Golbourne got turned towns defence just froze and we are 0-1. there was just no responce from town virtually no attacking intent, aimless long balls Cummings was up against a defender nearly two foot taller yet we pursisted in long balls , lang battled for scr@ps but was often isolated and surrounded by three accrington players with no one offering him an out ball. it must be deomralizing to be a forward in this team. to rub salt in the wounds Okenabirhie scores his second goal for Doncaster.
Town failed to respond to going a goal down and they loked aimless and clueless.
no suprise to hear BOOS as the players went off. i had hope for some improvment unfortently it did not materalize, love was awfull on the wing, no suprise that he and golbourne were subbed. only Edwards and McCormick really showing any mobility. 56 minutes till town figured out that Cummings needs it in the ground to run into the one and only time in the match we do it he scares the defence and has a half chance go wide
Murphy made a real mess of a shoot there was a scramble and Accrington score there second 0-2 .game over as town looked second best. fans vented there frustration with chants from; Boring Ricketts , its embarreasing, your are getting sacked in the morning to boos. Udoh's header goes wide
i was desprerate for the ref to put me out of my misery on a cold night watching a dire game
Lany looked frustrated as he was subbed for Udo. last 15 minutes town made a few feeble attacks that petered out or went wide . 96 minutes of football and there keeper made two saves.
i dont know what the answer is but it felt like Ricketts has lost the crowd

According to the BBC we had 21 shots (none of which were on target) so I'm guessing we should be grateful for that.

I’m really worried about relegation now. Tranmere have 1 point in 5 games and have scored no goals. There is no way they are making up 12 points on us in 16 games. Have to say im of the same opinion. Thankfully there are 3 teams even worse than we are this season. We had a short run before xmas that will hopefully see us safe but i would like to see another 2 or 3 wins just to be sure, sooner rather than later please. Tranmere must surely pick up a few points soon. Dont see Ricketts losing his job any time soon personally however bad it is.

Have I missed the post match interview? Save yourself some time and listen to the one from the weekend. Or the week before that. You'll not recognize the difference.

Just back from the game.... utter s**te 🤬 I’ve defended Sam the Man up until now but there comes a point where you can’t defend the indefensible. We were dreadful tonight. I nearly died of hypothermia watching an abject performance. No stats, sound bites or “look where we are compared to 10 years ago can ease the “we are s**t” feeling I have right now.

People were just taking the **** out of our players and SR. I think that’s the turning point for the manager/fan relationship. Once the anger turns into laughter, it’s an almost impossible situation to retrieve. I’ve been at games when you can’t get frustrated or angry anymore, you have have to laugh, and I’ve never seen a manager come back from that.

That was absolutely dire tonight. We are still playing for only a short time and tonight was about 20 minutes of effort, not even one full half. We are getting worse not better. Players Confidence gone and fans confidence in Mr R gone bar a few. If we play like this on Saturday we’d best be prepared for a frashing from Pompey. We will know when Ricketts is on his way because BC will state he has the backing of the Board ...then buy buy cheerio. I’ve been on the fence regarding Ricketts but I think he’s lost the plot now.

Sort of sums up how things are going at the moment, we started okay and they scored with their first effort of the game. After that happy to sit back whilst we lacked any belief or technical ability to get back into it, into the second half and a p**s poor goal to give away.
Laurent and Edwards couldn’t even pass wind, seriously I’m not sure we’ve ever had a less technically gifted central midfield pairing. There must be more to Norburn’s injury than meets the eye, I’m starting to think it’s a bad one they’re trying to keep under wraps.
Murphy < O’Leary, pathetic keeping for goal number two.
Williams has been stealing a living all season.
Lang acts like a petulant child when he gets subbed off, never mind that he played s**te.
Love was so bad I felt sorry for him. Can’t remember a player regressing so much in such a short space of time.
So with all that said, I can’t wait for Portsmouth on Saturday!
