Evening Ironhands, I don't need to tell you what a big game it is tomorrow. It's huge. Massive. flipING enormous. Mortgagehound was heard chuckling and telling all and sundry as he left Bolton "Ah well, at least we'll be playing the Iron again." Errrr, have you seen the table? Salop going down to L2 would be a disaster, Scunny dropping to non-league and denying us the pleasure of that fixture would be frankly catastrophic. Safe to say there's a lot of nerves in this correspondent's Harrogate Airbnb. Schizo and The Hound's game of scrabble is doing little to calm everyones mental state and The Tactician's attempt to lead a chant of "Any Old Iron" as we left the Harrogate Tap couldn't have gone down much worse. UTI, In Coxy We Trust. There will be a solemn atmosphere if your Airbnb booking covers tonight too. Can’t say I know “Schizo” personally but he seems a stand-up chap from his posts on here, so hopefully he’s able to get you all going again after today’s disappointment.

Glad to see my efforts with the tractor being recognised. Obviously I support the protests, but denying The Hound the opportunity to watch his beloved Iron?
Take your anger out on the right people, guys.

Thanks for sharing. Interested in Mortgagehound’s views on the sacking, who he’d like to see take the reins and whether relegation can be averted this season.

I know you and several other posters on here devote countless hours supporting Scunny but I think it might be time to go 100% Salop.

Looks like a less than auspicious debut for young Rekeil at Scunny today. Interested to hear a first person account from the group of half dozen I’m aware of who went along to lend their support today.

Our beloved Sc***horpe are on the brink. If Oldham manage to win today they are down.
I for one will be lighting a candle for mortgagehound and his Sc***horpe-supporting faction of the Salopian family.

Three way shot out for the remaining relegation place...
Barrow, Oldham and Stevenage all on 37 points...

Only managed 4 starts for them and last one over a month ago. Let's face it, he won't be here next season. He will either be sent out on a loan to probably a national League side or have his contract paid up.

Scunny have one last favour to supply to Oldham and Barrow before they drop into the National League.
They play Stevenage on Easter Monday.

Equally sadly, both Oldham and Barrow seem to have much tougher remaining fixtures than Stevenage.

I forgot Pyke was there - how can he not even get off the bench in such a hopeless team? He must have lost interest completely, because when he was on the pitch for us this season he at least looked capable of playing for L2's bottom team!
Had a quick look at his stats - I make it he's made 47 League 1 appearances and scored 1 goal. He's appeared 6 times for a League 1 side in the FA Cup without scoring & 5 times in the League Cup, scoring 2 amazingly enough.
That 3 year contract must be one of the worst decisions I've known the club make. Two years down and he's scored 1 League Cup goal.
I know goals aren't everything for a striker but, sheesh. Has there been a Salop striker with a worse strike rate (assuming, say, a minimum 20 appearances and at least 1 goal scored)?

Equally sadly, both Oldham and Barrow seem to have much tougher remaining fixtures than Stevenage. why do we sound upset for barrow ? last January they signed 9 players, and placed almost as many on the job retention scheme ( furlough ) ( the players they didn't want ) I wonder if we'd have turned blind eyes to it had it been our favourite second club Salford ?
