Yep, I’m over Hurst of course but nowt wrong with us wanting him to fail at Sc***horpe. Losing 2-0 at home to Swindon very poor result for them.

Pathetic thread. One game means nothing and regardless of your opinion on him he has proven himself to be a decent lower league manager. Fully expect them to finish in the top 7 but couldn’t care less either way.

The joke show trophy seems to be staying and no amount moaning about it is going change that unfortunately.

Alex Gillead was man of the Match for some fan groups it appears.
Definitely a player in there. Will be interesting to see how his season fares.


Also notice John Mcatee was on the subs bench but unused.
Hurst obviously knows him and rates him enough for a chance in league 2. I wonder if he will get on and progress?

Good thread. Some of us will follow Hursts career with interest for some considerable time. For different reasons I also follow the fortunes of Askey and Mellon and wish them both all the best.

I've no issue with the thread. We have threads dedicated to loan players. We always mention prior players and managers.

This thread keeps it contained so we can all marvel at the wonderous start the snake has started with this season. Hahhahahahahahaha

I think most posters on this forum are football supporters not just town supporters so always good to read views on other teams or persons of interest. If we didn't have the likes of Hurst and Wrexham to poke fun at it wouldn't be the same. Maybe in the not too distant future Hurst will end up at Wrexham and we could have one big fun thread for a few months until Hurst gets the sack and finds his true level in Sunday football never to be heard of again.

Sc***horpe sacked their manager after 4 games at the beginning of last season then the next manager after 6 months.
The pressure might start sooner rather than later for Adder chops😂😂

I think so.

We had some incredible loanees, things clicked and tight games went our way early in the season to give us momentum. 

If he was here now, I don't see us being any better off in terms league position or progress. 

I said the same thing around September last year.

I know the sites are mostly speculation, guesswork and rumours, so I take them with a pinch of salt. That said, one poster has announced that the Chairman and Manager are no longer speaking to each other and IF that is true, given the Chairman’s trigger happy history, there can only be one winner.
