It's certainly annoying that I shan't be sampling the real ales of the Swan and Cemetery today.

www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/news/2019/november/portsmouth-fc-statement-bury-match/" Following ongoing consultation with the Tony Goodall Fans’ Conference and Heritage & Advisory Board, the club have agreed that all current season ticket holders have the option to receive a credit based on 1/23rd of the purchase price of their season ticket by way of either:
- A credit against their 2020/21 season ticket. - A ticket to watch Pompey Women play at Fratton Park for a match currently scheduled to take place on the weekend of April 25-26 (if supporters choose this option then the money will be donated to Pompey Women). - A donation to the Pompey Academy." Can Salop do this? The ladies or academy teams would get a lot from this.

Interesting comment from the Bury Fans Forum.
"I wish there was someone who could investigate all these coincidences.
I clearly have no understanding or knowledge of any of this, and may be totally off the plot.
Financial institutions gathering investment with promise of 9% or more on unregulated ISAs for new development of student accommodation and car parks.
Investors left wondering where their money disappears to when the funds collapse.
Offshore accounts in British Virgin Islands and Panama and Malta.
Huge introduction fees.
Incredible interest rates.
The collapse of companies.
Directors with records of collapsing companies still starting new companies.
Financial institutions still lending money to these directors who didn't pay them before.
Selling off car park spaces, with leases for the land and guaranteed repayment.
If i was clever enough to write a book, no one would believe any of this stuff was possible.
No wonder i can't get my head round any of this.
Oh, and i forgot to add crypto currency scams such as onecoin".

They'll be back in Court again pretty soon when Dale fails to pay the CVA.

Don’t understand all this doom and gloom re Bury According to Shrewsbury TV they’re unbeaten all season so far without conceding a goal !! 😮 There again according to Shrewsbury TV they havent scored either !! 30 consecutive 0-0 draws must be some sort of record !! 😉

No guarantee however that they will be admitted True but there is the last big shake up of the pyramid next summer so I would think they have a very good chance provided they have a credible setup in place.

Lets hope so. The fans and workers at the club have suffered from this ridiculous saga for too long. We all know they couldnt be allowed to carry on the state they were in but lets hope they get a fresh start next season

If they get rid of the dead wood at the top it would be good to see Bury rise again. Fans have done nothing wrong.

I think the major challenge is convincing the new league that they have somewhere to play as I doubt that Gigg lane will be available

Couple of intetesting local ones on that list. FC Isle of Man will be a nice away trip! They must have some decent backing as they will have to pay expenses for visiting sides as Guernsey (Step 4) and Jersey Bulls (Step 6) currently do. Pain in the butt for us groundhoppers though! Jersey Bulls first season couldn't be more impressive (P 25, W 25, F 94, A 7)

www.theguardian.com/football/2020/mar/04/review-bury-need-for-ffp-efl-league-one-two-owners-wages'In Leagues One and Two, a “salary cost management protocol” limits wage spending, to 60% of turnover in League One, 50% in League Two, but owners are allowed to put in unlimited extra money as “football fortune” money, which can all be spent on wages. The system is almost designed to inflate wages beyond clubs’ means – Bury signed players from competitor clubs last season by offering fabulous pay packages they could not then afford – and it has a fundamental hole in it. Owners are required only to guarantee funding for a season, but players’ contracts are for two, three, five years; in Bury ex Chairman Day’s case, they outlasted his ability to pay'.

And so the story continues! www.burytimes.co.uk/news/18405357.bury-owner-steve-dale-targets-place-national-league/BURY owner Steve Dale says he has applied for a place in the National League next season and would be prepared to step aside as chairman to make it happen. Since being expelled from the Football League last August - the EFL not satisfied Dale had the funds to take the 135-year-old club forwards – he has also defaulted on a Company Voluntary Agreement to help settle debts. Dale now however insists he is confident that can be resolved and is eyeing a place in the top tiers of non-league for the two-time FA Cup winners, whether that be the National League or National League North, tiers five and six.
