I don't make a habit of leaving a game before the end but today I have seen and had enough. Absolute pants performance by the town.

Rochdale's second was the softest goal I've seen us concede in years. Woeful. The manager is an ex premiership and international centre half ! What goes on in training then

Problem is we got a goal back and almost nicked a point there, meaning that’s all SR will talk about. Misfortune, we were unlucky etc. Still a s**te performance again which won’t be mentioned.

I was watching on ifollow and turned off just before Docherty scored. Sounds like we should have equalized at the death. Would have papered over the cracks. The goals we continue to concede from set pieces are our undoing. Need someone to be organizing the team in those situations.

2 lucky results can’t hide what an absolutely ****ing clueless manager we have I’m afraid. For me it doesn't matter how bad a manager is he will always drop on a couple of lucky results which is what's happened, that doesn't mask anything Ricketts isn't up to it.

Too little too late. Mr Ricketts can say what he wants but that was Very ****ing poor for 95% of the game

in 90 minutes of football town just did not ask enough question of a Rochdale team whos defence leek like a sieve, conceding two soft goals both early in each half made it a hill to climb,Becketts header was well saved, Arnolds legs stopped us going 3-0. in Extra time Dochert scores a consolation goal and a good save just before the final whistle prevented town from getting a undeserved draw. Rochdalw wanted it more and deserved the win. i wonder what Rose tinted post match interview spin will Ricketts give on that poor performance what is baffling is apart from Becket that on paper is our strongest team. back down to 20th and one point clear of a relegation place

I’m incandescent with rage about something. Might be Waterfall, or perhaps the formation, possibly the choice of subs, not sure yet!!!

Personally, I'm laughing my t1ts off.
Only Town could do something like this.
But, in all seriousness, I think our mini-run flattered to deceive and the warning signs for this result were there last week.
Good news is Grant is back for Tuesday.

We had enough play and positions around the Rochdale goal to have won the game but when you gift goals to poor opposition and leave yourselves a mountain to climb you deserve everything you get, which in our case was absolutely nothing.
At least Anthony Grant will be back on Tuesday for what looks a much tougher game against Plymouth. To only take one point from the games against Wimbledon and Rochdale is extremely poor.
The rotation nonsense now has to stop, players can't build proper relationships and understanding with their team mates when they're constantly in and out of the side.

how many times this season have town given away soft goals from just not doing the basics it is so frustrating . Rochdale came close to scoring near the end of the half, town need to be switched on to how quick they break commentator made a number of comments about the playing surface. i apreciate the pitch may be poor but we dont seem to be breaking with any pace Firjiri , Campbell , whalley and waterfall have all had chances but after 45 minutes we have failed to score against a team with worst defensive record in the league (they have conceded 74 goals) if the pitch is very heavy they may need to look at Edwards getting subbed, as on this kind of pitch you are more prone to pick a injury especially as he has just recovered from a groin injury town have dropped to 19th in the live table I can't remember the last time we broke with any pace, always seem content to slow the game down and let the opposition get back in position rather than going for the throat.

Good news is Grant is back for Tuesday. defensively we really missed him today. but today town players need to have a look at themselves in the mirror. i dont expect town to win every game , i dont expect brilliant football but through this season we have had to many moments when towns defence have switched off or game when too many players have not turned up.(this is another on the that list) felt sorry for the loyal travelling fans who came to watch this game

At last, a bit of fighting spirit, they are currently arguing on the Spotland pitch because the Shrewsbury players cannot warm down! Typical.

Shrews scored a nice goal from a good move, but it was utterly out of keeping with the rest of the game. Horrendous performance, awful pitch, terrible weather.
Same time next week!

Anybody on here think we'll beat Plymouth next week? me---no chance----no bottle Apart from getting beat 0-2 at Sunderland they've had some very impressive results lately. They've held Luton and Portsmouth to draws and won at Peterborough. Since the turn of the year they've won 6, drawn 3 and lost 2. It's difficult to see us getting anything but the return of Anthony Grant will definitely help.
