The Rotation King strikes again
Would have had Sadler in for Bolton,
Glad to see Campbell and Okenabirhie up front together. Lets hope there are goals today.
Three defenders on the bench though,

Bolton injured. Beckles replaces him. Docherty for Laurent. Haynes for Golbourne. Fejiri for AAH. So 4 changes again. Edwards must be absolutely amazing in training. I haven’t seen anything whilst on the pitch which says he should be starting in front of others. He was streets ahead of the rest of the side last Saturday Would have had a goal had they been up with him

Pitch looks a bit roughed up, doesn't look good at all... Rochdale Hornets (RL) played on it last Sunday - it was a very wet day too.

I haven’t seen anything whilst on the pitch which says he should be starting in front of others. He had a quiet game against Wimbledon but he showed enough quality to make me think he will play an important role in keeping us safe. His positioning, eye for a pass and experience was there for all to see. What is lacking a the moment is the understanding of his team mates and that will come with time. He will keep the team ticking over and be Rickets assistant on the pitch. We now have four experienced leaders in Edwards, Waterfall, Grant and Norburn and that will be crucial in us finishing in the top 12.

Just another nothing ball makes its way into the box from the corner and finds a Dale player with time and space to put the ball towards goal. Yet more poor defending, another poor goal to concede....

Not listening to commentary but my son is there and tells me everything breaks down outside their box - nothing new there.
The feed on shrewsweb has us with five shots so far, none of them forcing a save. Nothing new there either - our shooting this season has been pretty poor. Struggling to recall a goal from any distance.

We're very lucky there. It wouldn't have surprised me if that would have been a red...
K'ell!! Lucky again, their lad just missed a sitter...

I'll wager Norburn will get another booking today. He needs to calm down a bit...

Well we're not out of it that's for sure. We've had chances, a couple that shot across their goal line that we really should have put away. Waterfall looks as though he can cause problems at the set pieces. Just some ropy defending again has let us down. Fancy us to get at least one back though...

Yet more poor defending, another poor goal to concede.... non existent marking a free header and they go ahead in the 14th minute , exactly what you dont wont to do away to a team low on confidence who have lost the last four games.

how many times this season have town given away soft goals from just not doing the basics it is so frustrating . Rochdale came close to scoring near the end of the half, town need to be switched on to how quick they break commentator made a number of comments about the playing surface.
i apreciate the pitch may be poor but we dont seem to be breaking with any pace
Firjiri , Campbell , whalley and waterfall have all had chances but after 45 minutes we have failed to score against a team with worst defensive record in the league (they have conceded 74 goals)
if the pitch is very heavy they may need to look at Edwards getting subbed, as on this kind of pitch you are more prone to pick a injury especially as he has just recovered from a groin injury
town have dropped to 19th in the live table

Rochdale's second was the softest goal I've seen us concede in years. Woeful.

What’s Whalleys obsession with always having to shoot with his left foot?
