EP3 for2019/20 Now Live Already onto EP3 for the season and this week are are a bit giddy after watching TOO MUCH INTENSE SPORT on Sunday and recording straight after the Super OVER! But we managed to find some focus to interview a Sunderland fan about D Love (a cult figure and a great interview) and Scooter of this parish on the trip to Portugal. Yeah we saw. Honestly, its all good, we get on well with Lewis whos been out the Salopcast numerous times now. Good luck to them. Frankely it tells you all you need to know about interest in Telford as far as the paper concerned! We pride ourselves on a good dose of research mixed with the passion you can only have by being a fan of this club for years and years having experienced the highs and lows. That's why both Podcasts will be very different. One is naturally going to be more standoffish at being critical (press) while ours looks to reflect our opinions and many other fans opinions sometimes brutally so. Still I would prefer to listen to some Shrewsbury lads rather than a couple of yam yams  |

EP 6 for this season is now LIVE A point lost a MK Dons. Town put in a good performance at the Dons and are unfortunate to head away with nothing to show after a horror 93 minute goal! This weeks pod looks back at the game in some detail, picking up the positives and negatives which seem to have been there since pre season. EP 7 for this season now live.... A big one this week as patterns start to develop in towns play and tactical set up which based on the lack of goals might be a cause for concern. We look at the week that was starting with a moral deflating 4-0 record home loss in the League cup, then 2 in 2 out before the 0-0 weekend stalemate where town again could not find the net for a 3rd game in a row. 600 town fans enjoyed the mammoth trip to Ipswich but were left frustrated by a slow start and and that rascal trevor kettle. But the journey there is half the fun and it certainly was for co hist Glyn Price who went via night in London and recounts the epic journey. We also look at the match Whalley, lack of goals (AGAIN), booing Nolan and the overall match review.

Another day on the road and this weeks Salopcast covers the match at Wimbledon as we are joined Adrian Plimmer to discuss the match and the many talking points from it. We discuss tactics (again!) as well as wondering if Cumming might be the missing piece to the jigsaw. Ollie and Ade are happy to see Norburn back while Glyn brings us the latest of the STFC ASFC getting their first win of the season.
We wrap up by looking at where we think town are right at this moment, reflecting on the Steve Morison TIFO interview and look ahead to what was considered a game we should win on Tuesday and a game that we probably wont on Saturday!

A competitive game at Tranmere that (sorry Micky) town won by the finest of Margins! A bloody good day out between the fantastic fanzine, the amazing salop fans and a much needed win to keep the playoffs in touching distance. Finishing was frustrating at times, but the defence and keeper looked rock solid again. EP16 for 19/20 - NOW LIVE A long wet and windy trip to Wycombe yielded some encouraging signs first half but more of the same old anemic STFC attacking second half as Wycombe s**thoused there way to 3 points. Its not pretty but it is effective. Towns finishing was once again dire, but the defending exceptional. Peirre was brilliant, but the midfield badly drifted out of it as the game went on. Away from the pitch we look back at Ricketts first 50 games with the club, update on a terrible day for the STFC ASFC and look ahead to what is a hard run of 7 games coming vs teams all above us in the league and a tricky FA cup tie. listened today glyn and you sounded like a Newcastle fan moaning about bruce not being Rafa ;-)
so we've only scored more than 1 goal in a game once this season
its twice really but you're not counting the 3 at accrington for some reason
presumably in your eyes we lost 2-1 at accrington then as you then went on to state we'd be 16th in the table with 3 points less
hopefully a few defeats now will cheer you up a bit ;-)

Thanks Pilch.... i say what I see. Unlike you I did not drink all Ricketts Cool Aid at the meeting I did mention the accrington game and how that was a bit of a weird one. Its about the only game where Ricketts went all guns blazing for the last period throwing on the attackers and going for it (we were 2-0 down so fair enough). Its so far away from everything else we have seen this season its not funny. We have not done that since which is weird. Anyway. 12th is fine for the moment. It could be more entertaining for sure, but the podcast is not hounding SR out. Next 10 will be interesting to see how far rickett thinks we have progressed. Like him I wouldd love a win tonight, if it can just click we could be going for good hings this season, BUT i have been saying that for a while.... All the fun of the journey though! |

Crazy really.. some of it has been super dull but turning a new more draws into wins will get us into the playoffs...

Latest Episode of the Salopcast now live. We start by looking back at the great win over Peterborough and all the comical moments about STFC fans fav ex striker Ivan Toney. We look at the good signs this match pointed to and what we need to do to stay on the play off pace.
Then we move onto a frustrating afternoon in the cold and rain vs Bradford. Bradford a team use to winning presented a challenge in an entertaining first half before the interest fell out of it in the second. A challenging replay awaits.
