Ok guys, the last podcast of the season just went live and is an alternative end of season awards and results of our predictions from the start of the season.
Heres to next season and coming back refreshed from a decent holiday!

Just to say that after a two week break, all the old episodes of the podcast have gone back to being "live".
Also we are approaching 20,000 listens now which is nuts. should hit the target with next weeks Ep looking back at the Oxford game.

A point you made in passing in the latest podcast really deserves further attention. The fact that Henderson now has his own chant (Hendo) while other key players don't, even though they have been here several years.
I suspect in Henderson's case it's not only because he is a good keeper but the chant "Hendo", being only two syllables long, is easy to sing.
But as fans, we are really letting down stalwarts like Ogogo and Brown.
Ogogo - why not "Going to Ogogo?" (Smokey and The Miracles") or "Abu Ogogo" to the tune of Einstein A-go-go?
Brown - why not "Knees up Junior Brown, Up The Table We Must Go, E-I-EI-Addio etc)?
Can we not print out some flyers with a couple of such simple suggestions and give them out to Blocks 18 and 19 (and the Safe Standing crew when that eventually happens?)

We have mentioned about Ogogo on some podcasts last season. Considering how good he is and how long hes been here now he should have a decent chant.

Definitely " deano" - "Hendo" is just wrong.
Another reference back to the Dean Spink era - Three word match report for Southend has to be A quote from Kylie "lucky lucky lucky"

Just listened to the Walsall episode, good stuff again gents.
Polite request for Ollie though, please never again refer to Shrewsbury Walsall games as the 'M54 derby'! As well as sounding cringey, neither town are connected by the M54!

Just listened to the 10 years at the meadow special. Thoroughly enjoyed that. Especially the review of each season played there. Brought back some fantastic memories, was great chat. Keep up the good work with this guys, helps get me through at least one of my work days!  |
