until now only caught 3 or 4 and think they are good fun but will probably catch up on the lot now
always hunting for something to listen to at work

Over 10k listens, which is more than we thought we might get for our first season in total, so glad its going well! As for itunes, if you subscribe, then it should be automatically downloaded, but i get the feeling you already know that. |

Enjoy the podcast but it does seem excessively long most weeks .
Spending 45 minutes purely on the Bolton game was too much.
A half hour podcast would be much better

It was not really 45 minutes on one game... maybe 25-30 and the rest on Salop news and predictions (plus intro comm clips etc). Generally we use the issues in the game to spin off into more general conversations (such keepers in the last ep)
We are however getting more efficient at doing it as the season goes on, they were way longer at the start of the season, and as we have never done it before its all a learning process.
Either way, this sort of thing helps us try and think about what we an change over the summer for season two of Salopcast.

We decided to leave the Easter games and yesterdays game to be covered in a pod this Sunday.... we were both away over Easter. Lots to go over... and we can finally celebrate safety.
Should be up late tonight or first thing tomorrow.

Lads, just wanted to say a big thanks for doing the podcast this season. I only learned about it after Christmas but it was great to start listening from the beginning, safe in the knowledge the season was going to start turning good. You've helped me through hours and hours of gruelling marathon training and the odd long car journey. Hope you'll continue it in to next season. |

Well Final regualr season episoid of the pod is now live (EP39). Covers the dull game at Oxford that about summed up the season in general. Also news on the retained list.

Cheers for the feedback. We had been better at trying to slow down in the normal eps, but in the format of the end of season review, it was fast flowing for sure.
Still learning about it all, and even from Sunday found some new things we could do better.
Next season should be another step forward hopefully.
