Connor has now spoken to the manager and the chairman and it seems that any of the earlier animosity has now faded somewhat. Yep, Matt Williams keen to get Connor back to the GM to do a HT draw so we can bid him a proper farewell.
Alls well that ends well...

Heard Matt Williams say that when he spoke to Brighton he told them that they weren't dealing with " little Shrewsbury Town " . In short he wasnt going to be railroaded into agreeing a deal for Connor which was detrimental to our club. Also said League rules do not permit clubs to divulge the terms of the deal which includes the actual transfer fee . Unless , of course both clubs are in agreement that the relevant details can be released . Very impressed once again with Matt , we need to definitely keep him on board .

Lewis Dunk: Brighton defender signs five-year contract It will be interesting to see what impact this has on Connors game time. Was he expecting Dunk to move on and therefore open the door to the first team. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34051033 He is also cup tied so the league cup can not be used debut game. If anyone has Shrewsworld you can also view the BHA site and Connors interview where he is both articulate and complimentary about town
