Well at LEAST my letters WILL be a SIGHT BIGGER than your er, CROWD tomorrow eh!?...........LOL Ok let's make a deal. If Shrewsbury take less than 500 to Vale Park I will promise to sit in a dark corner crying with bitter ineptitude at our laughable away following, and send a strongly worded letter to our Chairman demanding he closes the club down to avoid further embarrassment If we take more than 500 you explain the upper case thing? Deal?

and also all in lower case, the only reason this is the only game starting at 1pm is that the police assumed you lot were bringing 1,200 to 1.500! er, like we do?........i

Fab There were 100 police on duty in Shrewsbury last week and Hereford only brought 500. Policing and early kick offs are based on risk of trouble rather than attendances, and sadly recent Town v Vale games have attracted numb nuts from both sides Last seasons average attendances saw Town average 5875 with a high of 8817; Vale had average of 5532 and a high of 8607 so very very little between the two sides in all honesty. Bradford once again had top average of 11,128 which goes to show it's not attendances that count when it comes to performance on the pitch

Outside of the 1200 to 1500 band you quote. Just to clarify. in the 3 games at Port Vale, Shrewsbury have brought a cumulative 3,265 fans to Vale Park. Port Vale in return have brought 3,253 to the Meadow. So almost exactly the same then. Meanwhile, our average home attendances at Shrewsbury have been larger (between 100 a game and 500 a game) than Port Vale's every year.

Yes, £4 next to the ground and your car will even be safe! Regarding a pint, er keep away from Burslem!? lol. Your best bet will be in Tommy Cheadles, attached to the away end, 50 yard walk to the turnstiles too.........

Cup final no and obviously not.....but it is a big game to both teams so I can fully understand the scenes at the end both past and (hopefully) today.
Anyway...time for the gobs**tes to shut up and the boys to pull on the colours.
May the best team win

That's an average of 200 fans per goal, which is far better than the PV average of 2450 fans per goal. Statistics are a b***h

Perhaps your fans just like to watch games in more pleasant surroundings, hence the massive away turnouts;) Funniest post on this thread so far.

All the attendance boasting is ridiculous but I can't resist noticing the Vale posters have gone into hiding (how surprising) and there were fewer than 5,000 home fans for a Saturday afternoon derby. We'll have more than that at Arsenal on a Tuesday night.
And the Vale mascot with the stars and stripes - cheap and cheesy.
