Not really sure how people can go on about Holt not being loyal - firstly it seems the club have accepted a bid for him, rather than Holt's been chasing a move. and secondly how many people have commented on threads on here about how we should bin off Garner, Hibbert and even Dunfield, yeh that would be loyalty wouldn't it

Look to the future my friends. Who shall we buy? Or perhaps, who is the next manager? Incidentally, my money is on us drawing Norwich in a cup competition.

Unfortunately players today with the very odd exception have NO loyalty to a club only MONEY ! If they want to leave .......let the selfish money grabbers go . Are there any players left that have a sense of morality or ethics ? what is your profession Sir? Would you not move from say one firm to another because of better pay/better conditions? Anyway, I thought the point would be that its great business for the club to sell Holt, not that he wants to go.

At this moment we own the top scorer in league 2 - that type of commodity cannot be replaced - IF it is true, then selling him shows a total lack of ambition......... if Holty goes the club MUST, as a matter of principle, offer a refund to those who have purchased season tickets for the coming season. Of course he can be replaced, every player has a price, even when you look at Ronaldo's move to Real Madrid. I'll be disappointed if/when he goes, but Holt is replaceable, figures of £400k that have been quoted are impressive for a League 2 player. You don't half sound like a member of the jester hat brigade, the sort that come whooping and hollering out of the woodwork we we have a good cup run/go to Wembley etc...

Get a life - I've probably had a season ticket since before you were born! In that case you will have seen many worse times at STFC and should be in a position to appreciate a reasonably stable division 2 club.

The impression since Christmas is that the club hasn't got a pot to p**s in. The money will shore things up and hopefully give us a war chest come this January if we're deep in the mire.
