That looks pretty official. If he goes, good luck to him - next season. I also hope we got a decent fee. But he's been far too inconsistent for us for far too long.

If this is true - I think getting rid of Ryan Lowe whilst we're still not safe is effing ridiculous.

Unlike Sean if this is true then thanks Ryan, but you are the most annoying footballer I have known to have played for Town. You either have it or you dont, you either want to know or you dont.
So basically its no loss
Good luck

I agree, how bloody stupid to sell to one of our relegation rivals!.It serves us right if this comes back to haunt us.

If true I am shocked. I'm still not a 100% sure Luke wont be sold before deadline day . So let me get this straight, we not have a choice of Rodgers (who may well be off) Langmead Sheron and Darby (always injured) What and I guess Edwards/ Street to play on the right Bonkers And I dont care what anyone says, at this level players like Ryan, who have the skill are either going to have temperament problems (like Luke) or be inconsistant, otherwise they'd be playing further up the league.

I'd be surprised if this is true. I'll wait for ShrewsWeb to confirm.
If true, not a good move.
And I'd say that whether it was Lowe, Grant or Darby.

Ryan is a lovely lad, scores the odd goal, but his input in 90mins is not enough, if he was good enough GP would keep him, he isnt, he isnt right for the type of team that GP wants, or that I would like to see, can't speak for others on that score.

could work for us or against us ie he may score goals that beat our relegation rivals Bury Notts County etc etc

Got news off Orange World - Bit mixed really. Ryan on his day could be a world beater, but too many games of inconsistency. Still - selling to your rivals, supposildy three million in debt? Time will tell on this one me thinks.

lets put it this way:
If Chester think Ryan Lowe can solve their forward problems...they will soon find out.
If Gary Peters thought Lowe was in his plans he would of kept him and if anyone thinks Ryan Lowe is the answer to the rest of our season we are in more trouble than I thought.

Can't argue with that. If Ryan wasn't inconsistent he wouldn't be playing in the fourth division - we look seriously light up front.

:)Yeah its true!!!! Most inconsistent player in my time at the Meadow and by far the most frustrating!! No loss what’s so ever - and like moss went out from the club doing what he did best!! (with moss being good and helping us win - for Lowe one of his last touches for the club was to hammer another woeful cross into some more unsuspecting fans behind the Lincoln Goal!!!) God Im glad to see the back of him- and hopefully just in time for him to arrive and unsettle Chester and cost them some points Selling one of your worst players to a teams also struggling who we don’t play again affects us little and I have the feeling that this pattern will follow Darby out (injured) - Sheron In Rids out (Injured) - Cowen in Moss out (sold) - Wilkinson in Lowe out (Sold) - Who in??? I bet he gets another forward in before Thursday and in bodes well for keeping Luke for the rest of this season too Peters has done it again Now if we can just con Halifax into a bit of cash for Grant were laughing all the way this season as far as transfers go!!!!

this is an interesting story
I am amazed that Vaughan is being quoted and yet nothing "official" from either camp
If he does go then I don't think it is a huge loss
He is far too inconsistent
While he was our player I backed him, and would do if he still was, but Peters will have something els ein mind and until we see what that is we cannot make the decision
I expect a young midfielder from a championship club to join us pretty soon though, another one for the future

GP is a shrewd mover, i doubt he will let us down or weaken the team.
Ryan is one of the ones that would have gone in the summer anyway, so if we do sell and make money great...
Thanks Ryan ..... Bye Ryan

I agree 100% with Pricey But if/when the deal is confirmed.. Cheers Ryan, for the glimpses of class you've (rarely) shown. But overall inconsistency tarnishes the quality we all know you have.

Now that Lowe has gone I wouldn't sell Grant. It would leave us exposed up front and an injury to Langmead or Rodgers would totally kill us off.
