All book shops deal in fiction too . All made up lies 😭 Books in the Fiction section don’t pretend to be factual. The written Press try to convince you that they are factual to get you to fork out your hard earned cash.

The written Press try to convince you that they are factual to get you to fork out your hard earned cash. Usually it's a case that one of them has bothered to go and try and find out for themselves what's happening , having gathered up all the info they could get , they have then made an opinion of what they think is happening/happened , Also people don't accuse them of being drip fed information or demand a source either Of course there are a few who sit at home and just make up lies , hard to tell one from the other at times , but they get found out in the end

If it does end up being Maamria it better work out for us for Micky Moore’s sake. I might be wrong but he’s the least inspiring appointment out of all the names linked so far. I think he could be somewhat forgiven for appointing Ainsworth/ Wild/ Mangan and us still going down. He could get hammered for ignoring all these candidates for Maamria and it not working out, rightfully so.

True. It tends to someone properly random that no one has mentioned or thought of!

Ainsworth over Maamriia everytime. But have we forgiven him for this? Nothing to do with him. Think you’ll find the linesman gave the goal and referee went with the mistake. Was Ainsworth supposed to protest?

MM has been here for 18 months so it is reasonable for the buck to stop with him now that Hurst has gone. That’s what people in management have to do and he is the current top man on the football side of the club.
He may not like being the public face but as there’s no one else to do it he should be more openly accountable until we have a new coach/manager.

But I do remember being absolutely fuming at the time, probably as annoyed as at any time in my 30 years watching the Town. It proved a very costly mistake by the ref too. I can't see it happening, I'm sure he'll have better offers, but if it did and he kept us up he would be well and truly forgiven.

Ainsworth over Maamriia everytime. But have we forgiven him for this? The worst decision I have ever seen in a Town game but, having watched those highlights, I am slightly more forgiving of Ainsworth as we still wasted enough chances to win it 4-1. Oh for Mark Wright and Jon Taylor…..

Andy Mangan now been mentioned. Good coach and previously played for us and always put in a good shift.

What I'm hearing is the club have a name and favourite in mind but the stumbling block is Moore who isn't so keen on this individual and prefers his own less experienced choice's [sic]
Who wants to work with & along side [sic] Moore who by all accounts isn't the most popular figure within the club and alternatively who does Moore want to work with and likely rule over? [sic]
Wycherley is guilty of making many bad or poor appointments during his tenure but Moore must rank as one of the worst on so many fronts

Whether it’s fair or not, that’s the reality of how fans react to results. If we score then the players involved rightly get the credit, not someone higher up the management chain.

That's how some of our fans react you mean Dress it up however you like but he has signed some dross mostly from lower level teams. Vale. Cheltenham, Carlisle and of course Ireland. You will only face up this when you see on the back of the Star, “Wycherley shows the door to Mr Moore”.

Has Moore done his job??....no imho....poor recruitment....and it started a long way back, when he signed Taylor Perry... you've only gorra look at Perry's stats at Cheltenham to see that...they were p**s poor.....but the club let him sign him....I shuddered then, and I'm still doing it now.....god awful recruitment, and Hurst is not blameless either...by bringing in gillead....he was s**t first time round, and even worse now....but still getting a game..... I'm lost for words tbh🤦🤦🤦😔😔

Any new manager will have to get this rabble playing at twice their ability for the whole rest of the season to even give us a hint of staying up, it’s not happening.
Wycherley, Moore and Hurst - appalling oversight, appalling squad building, shame on them all.

No need for an interim manager anymore. Get one who can take it from here, get some players in that will be able to get us promoted next season and create a solid base to push on from.

You could theoretically promise whoever takes over that their job is secure for next season even if we go down but if in 10 games time we've only scraped a couple more points together and we're cut adrift at the bottom then the knives are going to be out. It's still a big risk for anyone when as you say the standard of squad is one of the worst I've seen in my lifetime.
