My problem with receiving what club sources say as objective truth is the multiple times in the past we have found it isn't. My understanding of TWOTS style stuff was that it never intended to claimt o be truth but was rather reporting the whispers / jungle drums. No source will ever be "true" in the sense there are always two sides to every story. There is a very narrow group of people who I do really trust. The rest are always speaking out of their own bias or hurt. Quoting club sources is very helpful. Them communicating directly is very helpful. But it is still one side of a story and should always be open to questioning. If we won't sell the club to vastly wealthy local businessmen who have significant resources, good credibility with the fanbase and appear to want to buy the club, then I find it difficult to believe we will sell it to a mythical overseas consortium. A "number of interested parties" is the same as saying there is gold at the end of the rainbow. Our club is not worth the value it is being sold for. That is why no-one will buy it and why it won't sell. I own a Toyota Yaris, 0.9l, 77,000 miles on the clock, ten years old. If I told you I was selling it you might be interested as a little run around. If I told you I was trying to sell it for £10,000 you may consider I didn't really want to sell it. Even though it is genuinely for sale. Both of those statements are true. twots Very strong rumblings that a couple of Americans are on the verge of buying daves Toyota for £12,000 , deal will be done next week If it doesn't sell next week it's likely dave messed the buyers about 😉 |

I could probably head to oswestry and buy a younger car, which has been better looked after (albeit a little bit on the small side) for less than your £12000. It will even be doing 3 trips into europe soon. I recon it's more value for money, even though it's not publicly for sale.

Not sure what your point is 🤔 I don't know what you do but if I'm selling a car I like to clean the carpet and make it look as nice as possible , sometimes it tatty so I'll mask it with some cheap mats or even those paper ones 🙄 Maybe the town could have laid a function room size rubber mat to hide the dirt , that would have fooled the buyers 🥳 |

Apparently it's not the done thing for humans to sit on birds poo so I'm very angry but I've got to clean the seats. How dare they insult my car just because it's got poo in it. |

I did change the carpets. I chose blue and white even though no-one else wants it because I'm the owner. |
