Good because I don't really give a s**t and so it seems do an ever increasing number of fans. If the club feels inclined to continue to sneer at its supporters and spread its gossip to the likes of you and have its senior staff join message boards and post about carpets then good luck. Having a bad day or what ? like I said , I saw rumours on here and got off my arse and went and asked if they were true , there was no steering , I was told no they are not even talking to Americans , its great when I come on here and post the truth and get sneered at for doing so So are we to understand that if any of us had got off our arses and asked the same question we’d have been give the same amount of info and answers ?? I doubt it as even shareholders were told less at the last AGM ?? 🤔 |

After all, there gave been numerous other parties involved in ALL that has happened at STFC over the last few years, and their "truth" may be a little different - but we DONT KNOW! |

He has quickly identified Pilch as the senior moderator of one of the largest groups of Shrewsbury Town fans and has made contact with him,met him and arranged for Pilchs greatest wish, a one off,never to be repeated meeting,with the Chairman. Obviously Pilch has been flattered and is now totally pro-club. Some may say that his aquesence has been bought, others may not.One thing is certain nowadays he doesn't criticise the club for anything that they do |

Our chairman says his door is always open , I put that to the test , ok it took me 12 months to get an invite after asking a couple of times but he is approachable and as far as I can tell quite open once you meet him , why not try it for yourself , apart from that just rock up and ask or email , you don't always get the answers you want but if you don't ask you don't get |

I do not question that your comments are an accurate report upon what you have been told - how can I as I wasn't present - but what I DO question, in the interests of the legitimate debate suggested in an earlier post, is whether or not your reported version is the WHOLE TRUTH: as I said, there are other parties involved in all of these issues, and in the absence of hearing from them, it is impossible for us to debate and form a judgement. Looking at the football league rules on the “fit and proper” tests on new owners, do we know if any of the potential, now failed interest in the club ever reached this stage where the football league reviewed them?
It’s not a great process but would at least hopefully provide some additional checks on the financial ability of those circling the club for a cheap deal

My problem with receiving what club sources say as objective truth is the multiple times in the past we have found it isn't.
My understanding of TWOTS style stuff was that it never intended to claimt o be truth but was rather reporting the whispers / jungle drums.
No source will ever be "true" in the sense there are always two sides to every story. There is a very narrow group of people who I do really trust. The rest are always speaking out of their own bias or hurt.
Quoting club sources is very helpful. Them communicating directly is very helpful. But it is still one side of a story and should always be open to questioning.
If we won't sell the club to vastly wealthy local businessmen who have significant resources, good credibility with the fanbase and appear to want to buy the club, then I find it difficult to believe we will sell it to a mythical overseas consortium. A "number of interested parties" is the same as saying there is gold at the end of the rainbow.
Our club is not worth the value it is being sold for. That is why no-one will buy it and why it won't sell.
I own a Toyota Yaris, 0.9l, 77,000 miles on the clock, ten years old.
If I told you I was selling it you might be interested as a little run around.
If I told you I was trying to sell it for £10,000 you may consider I didn't really want to sell it. Even though it is genuinely for sale. Both of those statements are true.
