Last time Winchester didn't start we won 3-0!
Its important that one of Rossiter or Ojo join the attack as both like to sit back.

Shipley has fallen right out of favour hasn't he. Wingers of Bloxham and Gilliead.
Good to see O'Reilly back on the bench and J Feeney starting.
Still no keeper though - you do get the feeling it's going to bite you on the arse sooner or later

It's very welcome to have options on the bench this season. I'd almost forgotten what that was like.

Benning is very very lucky there. A lot more of a pen than on Saturday.

Clear push on Castledine meaning he headed the ball back towards his own goal which Stockport score from. Of course we don't get them!

Looked like a handball from their no. 6 (I think) as well.

Just a lot of town players spectating and not taking charge and clearing the lines. Same old. Same old. Need to really dig deep and show something second half.

Hoole gave away the free kick and looks a liability at the back.
Disappointing as we grew into the game, played some good stuff and were looking threatening. A familiar story.

Unfortunate to be behind. After 20 minutes of even play town really started to dominate and had 4 or 5 decent half chances. There are goal here if we carry on the way we have been.
I'd like to see Lloyd taken off for Marquis. Not his game tonight and if he was quicker to react he could have been on a hatrick by now.
Town have changed it up tonight, they seem to be playing it about more and making Stockport chase the ball. Hopefully we see some tired county legs 2nd half.
Another game where Savin has nothing to do other than pick the ball out of his net.

Castledine fluffed his header under minimal contact from stocky lad. At least he went up to try and win the ball I'll give him that.

Caseldine has looked decent, but for me he wasn't strong enough clearing the ball there. Town been ok, definitely the better side, but with the same old problem that despite creating a modest number of reasonable chances we just don't seem capable of scoring.

Never going to score many with a lone striker with no strikers instinct and poor finishing. Love his effort but its a real concern that we get into great positions and we have to put it on a plate several times before he threatens the goal.

I don’t want to be be dramatic but I am finding it so so hard to keep up any sort of positivity. We were actually playing ok and Stockport looked poor, they hit a nothing ball in to the box and we are 1-0 down.
You need to win games like these to give yourself a chance of staying up - please prove me wrong second half Town.

Town have been moderately improved over the last 3-4 games, but it can't be coincidence that it's still the same old story. We have a positive spell but don't really threaten, miss a couple of reasonable half chances, we concede through a mistake, and then huff and puff ineffectually for the rest of the game. Almost one quarter of the season gone, and like you I prefer not to be overly dramatic, but we really could do with three points soon from these kinds of games.

Great ball from Hoole but someone absolutely has to gamble on a move to the front post, do that, it's a tap in. Good move, but really highlights our lack of killer instinct up front.

What the actual **** was Feeney doing there!? Literally passed it to the Stockport player trying to save a corner. Town got very lucky there, probably should be 2-0 but credit to Savin.

Another vital save from Savin but Town guilty of standing off and allowing them to shoot. Looking ragged all of a sudden, need a reaction and we need it soon otherwise this will end 3-0 if we're not careful.

They are making 4 subs despite leading the game - Hurst come on now, definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting different results.
Give me something to cling on to here I’m begging you
