A friend was saying yesterday that we look such a small & lightweight team but I think it's more than that. I think there's a lack of streetwise/dark arts and also togetherness. If that was Leahy making the same challenge as Benning then he'd have gone rolling round like he'd been shot and you'd have had the likes of Marosi & Dunkley surrounding their player. I know some don't like those sort of tactics but in our situation you have to try and create any advantage. Disagree we look a good side by the way, it's not a coincidence to see how many opposition fans say what a poor side we look. I agree we are lightweight , the likes of perry yesterday just got brushed aside when trying to go by a player , defending corners we look out of our depth at times , Savin looks like a rabbit in headlights when coming to punch the ball , and with some dodgy refereeing decisions yesterday we just accepted them and got on with it like an under 15 private school boys rugby team , I might have disliked cotterill for most things he did but his dark arts were second to none including his players questioning decisions and more so those that needed questioning , we need our players to fight for 3 points like as if they don't get paid if we don't get them , in the first half yesterday the ref was giving us the dodgy decisions, I can only imagine steve evans got to him at some point between half time and the 2nd half because he flipped the other way , the crowd were riled up but the players just accepted everything , they made it easy for him , the players need informing before Tuesdays game that they appear a little lightweight , I'm pretty sure that might be all it takes for them to get fired up and prove they aren't Yes I agree with a lot of this. Savin is a technically sound keeper but he looks uncomfortable with the crosses, that's a young keeper I guess. The one guy who I think could be a bit of a bully is Marquis, which makes his omission the more stranger.

Ive not seen Kayode play but isn't he a big and strong striker with pace?. Our equivalent of Carlton Morris.

The one guy who I think could be a bit of a bully is Marquis, which makes his omission the more stranger. I haven't seen a lot of him but the few times I've seen him this season, he's looked lightweight, won little in the air and struggled to hold the ball up, Llloyd has looked lots better as a sole striker. Marquis does look more 'streetwise' though, aka he dives a lot

If kayode gets fit, I'd definitely prefer him over marquis, what I've seen of the both

Due to working every Saturday I haven't seen much of them in the flesh. Is Savin a talker? Good defenses generally have a keeper that constantly talks to them. From what I've seen of him, he seems very reserved

He's still a young keeper I guess (Although Henderson had a lot of confidence and mouth), I wouldn't say Savin is so reserved but he doesn't direct things like Marosi did, it seems to be the role of Morgan Feeney now.

I was at the Oldham pre-season game. No crowd so could hear the players. Pierre barked the most orders. Not saying he's the answer tho

this team really needs to find some fighting spirit from somewhere, the older players should be more vocal in encouraging the younger players. after so many defeats confidence is going to be low but we badly need to battle more. when we concede a goal you can see how it takes them some time to get back in the game, in the last game as other have said we had some very poor decisions go against us and we hardly challenged any of them.
