That was shocking! Toto slices and Savin charges off his line with feck all chance of getting to it! Absolute schoolboy defending!

We play some nice stuff without ever creating clear cut opportunities.
We play absolutely suicidal at the back. Invite pressure and give up 5 clear cut chances a game.
There's not a chance we stay up with that formula.
Feeney needs to be a rolls Royce or we are utterly doomed.

Embarrassing defending you have to wonder what on earth Hurst thought he was doing in signing Nsiala.
Wrexham have hardly had to break sweat to get their three goals our defense just been letting them run past us or commical defending like the third. Great we got some attackers in during the loan window but this defense looks like shipping a hat full of goals this season

BBC rub it in too!
Not again! Sorry Shrews fans.
Jack Marriott does indeed have his third goal of the season and it's a bit of a horror show for the visitors as Toby Savin races out of his area after Aristote Nsiala hacked a clearance into the sky.
Marriott beat the keeper to the ball and slotted low past the dive of Mal Benning to surely seal this one.

The positives, Shipley isn’t taking any dead ball situations and Tolley isn’t too bad a pundit. The negatives, the wingbacks are killing us and we are defending way too narrow. We need too score the next goal! Wrexham using wingbacks is no suprise, I said in the pre match thread that Hurst needed to set up the team to protect the right and left back. That and very poor defending has gifted Wrexham this game

Frustrating, as all three goals conceded were preventable. Just haven't given ourselves a chance today with our defending.

Hopefully only a bench role for Toto until his Jan. departure.

A strange game, town have created little and going forward have been poor, but have shown flashes of being able to compete but you can't get anything out of any game when you're repeatedly shooting yourself in the foot. At the back Town have been an abomination, there's no other word for it, time after time there's been defending that would make an under 12 boys team blush with shame and embarrassment. We're the authors of our own downfall here and the optimism of last Saturday has very quickly evaporated, replaced with a deep sense of dread.

Our two midfield ball winners have just not worked....Wrexham just played around them.

Speaks volumes in the ability to compete at this level when you look at the subs. Town have 3 young players on loan who had never started an EFL game before this season (two of them still haven't).
Wrexham have three very experienced EFL players each with hundreds of games experience, and have their record signing of 500k still sat comfortably on the bench.

So our defence is Conference standard and we never look like scoring.... If Rowland doesn't sell up before January then we are down.

Do kind of think Wrexham only really needed to play at about 60% capacity today to get the win, and seemed to have a lot more levels to go up or bring quality on the bench if we had somehow gone ahead. Might just be that the Sky coverage doesn't pick it up, but think once they scored all the atmosphere went out of the game and both sets of fans were very quiet for a local derby. Probably Wrexham fans felt they could relax and not have to do much as well.

I don't think much of Ojo, negative with the ball and takes the easy pass every time.
