This is fecking ridiculous! We are playing the better football without creating jack, and they hardly ever attack and yet when they do they look like they will score every time!

Only found out at kick off it was a Now TV game today. Not too sure that was a good find on my part judging by the first half.
Very slow start by Town where we gave Wrexham far to much time and space, and them taking the lead was no great surprise and perhaps a little fortunate to go 2 behind in the first 15, but Town looked to get back in their stride for 15 minutes of the half, but fear that second goal is going to be to much for us to come back. While were looking ok going forward the lack of a striker to hold the ball up is really showing and doesn't help us sustain attacks, and this defence looks vulnerable to conceding a few more.
Only ray of light is that Wrexham seem very hyped up and making really stupid challenges and giving us useful free kicks but Benning on a yellow and up against Barnett could well be a red too.
Didn't expect too much from today but an important second half to make a match of it and not let things get too bad with a heavy defeat

It's been all us last 30, they have had 3 half attacks and should be 3-0 up , so frustrating , oh well still 45 to go at them

Benning has really deteriorated from last season.....wrexsham nothing special,but you can't keep backing off,you've gorra close down and put a tackle in sometime

The positives, Shipley isn’t taking any dead ball situations and Tolley isn’t too bad a pundit. The negatives, the wingbacks are killing us and we are defending way too narrow. We need too score the next goal!

We are well in the game in many ways but are being completely undone by some woeful defending - numerous chances to stop the attacks for both goals with plenty of defenders back but we just seem to stand off the attackers and give them space even when they are in the box.

It’s all good.
After reading Micky Moore’s statements I feel reassured the club is going in the right direction. We’re even over our budget!
Pay no attention to the scoreline or league table! This is the best we can do and we are in safe capable hands!

But from the three Sky games show he looks to be really struggling at left back. His yellow card tackle today was a poor lunge and he's really struggling against Barnett. In part its as he gets very little support from the midfield and left side forwards, but looks a real weak link in the team |

Wrexham s**t at the back, we just need to keep the pressure on without conceding a 3rd and I think we will get something.

We have been competing reasonably well in midfield and have good possession but have done little with it, when we have got near their box their defence looks beatable.
What we do lack is the aggression and strength, when they break it is with purpose and positive, they sucked us in to the man with the ball and then passed it to the spare man to running in late or wide.
I know we are 2-0 down but it is by far NOT the worst display this season.
It won’t finish 11 v 11.
Re Benning this season he just looks a little slower and keeps getting caught with the ball or over running a tackle.

Really narrow defending, McClean and Barnett have so much space. Town just look overloaded. Still, they have been in the game for most of it. Would like Sagoe and O'Reilly on with enough time to make a difference |
