I ignore friendly matches. I call them musical chairs. I believe the season we Juan the league under Fred, we didn't win a single Juan. I tend to agree, but I remember one exception - I think it was just before the Mellon promotion season (or maybe the Turner one) when we beat everyone about 3-0. Naturally I expected a rubbish season to follow! Someone else can look it up if they’ve got nothing else to do today 😉

Weve got recent history with our back up keeper being ex Wolves. Alan Boswell

Young the trialist keeper looked good, lad from Cheltenham had a couple of decent touches then went off, poor bloke looked distraught. A nothing game, Salop (as they should be) the better footballing side but all Brackley after we brought the kids on. Toto was our best player by quite a way, few others looked knackered I’m guessing a PH preseason is a lot harder than a MT one! The chairman and DoF both in attendance, definitely incomings next week as well. The Chairman didn’t hang around for any pleasantries, we parked 200 yards from the ground and his car shot past us before we were half way back th the car. As for ex Wolves keepers, I give you Harry Burgoyne who was never going to survive the cull once Hurst was appointed.

Not Boswell as someone suggested (he went the other way)
