Shrewdshrewsupporter: it's really no good talking perfect sense on this forum. It will recieve negative feedback I could write a book on it I was ordered today from my most senior mod to stop defending the club lol

I feel sorry for all the loyal supporters who keep buying their season tickets, but yet the club appear to be obtaining players on the cheap. Mr Wycherley has a duty to the fan base to see that the club is competing in division 1, otherwise he should step down with immediate effect and put the club into administration. To have another season of poor football and hoping to survive in league 1 is not good enough. The damage this will do would be catastrophic, as a likely relegation would see season tickets plum it and prolong the decline of the club. Its about time we heard from Mr Wycherley himself, rather than hide behind his yes men in Moore and the new ceo. The club is hardly flourishing at the minute but I just don't get this at all. Do people not realise this is a business? This isn't a charity or a CIC. Wycherley or anyone else that might own the club can do as they please and have no duty at all to any of us. We are merely supporters who have our own free will whether to support the club or not. Let's face it town are now a small club at this level. Expecting them to be able to be at the top of the league will likely result in financial ruin and the end of the club

I'm hoping that is fairly one sided reporting and it sounds like town have barely touched the ball! 😂

I think Shrewdshrewsupporter made some very good points, we are all concerned what is going on at STFC. If Mr Wycherley addressed the fan base before the season starts, I think this would help. Fat chance of that happening, us peasants are an inconvenience

I'm only following the game on here, not heard any news from the ground. Do I take it we are losing going by a post or two? Well we did lose the last time we went there last time Hurst was here, didnt have a bad season afterwards though did we. [br Shrewsburys own twitter/X feed is also reporting. Couple of shots but nothing much by the sounds of it. 0-0 at half time x.com/shrewsburytown?t=0lkPLUao491vX7-Ot0sPiA&s=09

Expecting them to be able to be at the top of the league will likely result in financial ruin and the end of the club im sure some think its a public service and they have the right to be entertained in style every saturday afternoon , the fact is we are one of the last sides to drift towards the black hole that has been pulling EFL clubs ever nearer since the launch of the premier league and sky, we've had a guy fighting that off until the bitter end, it seems we are being pulled into this black hole at present and it will get worse noe before it gets better, now is an amazing time to sell but only an idiot would want to buy us at the moment, they will simply wait a couple of years until we have no value left, we can debate for ever how talks to selling the club went and make up a story to suit our own narrative, we didn't sell, for me all I want is a club to support on a saturday, I dont care what league its in, but thats just me, some people have a more expensive taste than I do, each to their own by the way, moaning and crying does nothing apart from create ill feeling and more depression come on town

The customers ie fans are not in my mind being well looked after. None of us expect to be at the top of league 1 next season, but any fan paying their hard earned money to buy a season ticket to watch a squad of players bought from supersavers to watch poor entertainment is in my mind not value for money.

Would you be saying the same if town had been relegated and the same squad was assembled for league two?

This is our club. RW is the current custodian lucky enough to be in a position of privilege. It will never be his or anyone else club, and if he or another owner “does as he pleases”, he can expect to know about it Appalling post

But then you know this, it's for attention and quotes and I've fell for it so I suppose it's on me.
