Mr Wycherley's tenure has mostly seen us in league 1, he's from the breed of owner that's a fan. He wants the club to do well so fans turn up, buy season tickets, spend their money with us to sustain his business and plans. But that's the full extent of his duty to the fans. As we've seen with Hereford, Chester and, until recent times, Wrexham, loyal fans have to put up with what they are given or just stop being loyal fans.

Which 5 of the 6 have come on? And which 5 of the 6 have gone off? Basic, just basic. It's been edited now...

Be intrigued what response is from those going. A run out needed to kick pre season off in terms of games. Result isnt particularly important, but hope performance showing some signs of team togetherness. Shame to not see more trialists playing, or at least appear to be, but good to get some new signings on the pitch

Perhaps it should be available for all fans?

cant read it all as its paywalled, I think today was a nothing game really, anything but a defeat was good for us, a defeat would have led to gallows humour mostly without the humour part so fine by me, without checking I forget who the next game is against

Young the trialist keeper looked good, lad from Cheltenham had a couple of decent touches then went off, poor bloke looked distraught.
A nothing game, Salop (as they should be) the better footballing side but all Brackley after we brought the kids on. Toto was our best player by quite a way, few others looked knackered I’m guessing a PH preseason is a lot harder than a MT one!
The chairman and DoF both in attendance, definitely incomings next week as well.

Gutting the trailist had to go off so early, sounds like he was devastated which would suggest it’s a bad injury which will potentially stop our interest going any further. Hopefully few in next week and all of a sudden things start to look better. Add the loans in who should have had pre season with their clubs and then it’s how quickly we can implement our plan into them

Its nothing more than providing match fitness to the squad.
But interesting that Micky Moore No.1 target is still not match fit (Savin).

With a pre signing medical, they must have been aware Micky Moore's No. 1 target might not be match fit for a while. I expect that signing under those circumstances was considered a calculated risk as a way of savin' money.
Maybe he's signed to be a Harry B and a great loan keeper will be sought?

Anyone any idea who the trialist keeper is and where he's come from?
Read both Telford and Wolves mentioned on here before the match. Seems to have done well

I had a brief chat with Savin before the game said he’s not quite 100% but confident he’ll play a part next week, he also took part in a full warmup with Beast and the other 2 keepers pre match which is promising.

Intriguingly Joe Young, Tommi O'Reilly and James Olayinka (was he the other guy on trial?) all have the same agent. Rob Street is also a client of theirs www.transfermarkt.co.uk/arete/beraterfirma/berater/5078Who's next? Forwards - Euan Pollock, Oliver Sanderson, Charles Sagoe Jnr even who had a loan at Swansea last season but barely played? Or a central midfielder - Todd Alcock, Jo Gibbard?

I ignore friendly matches. I call them musical chairs. I believe the season we Juan the league under Fred, we didn't win a single Juan.

21 year old keeper. Released by Wolves in the summer. Played for their youth teams and PL2 fairly regularly and a fair few loans, but never above National League North/South level. Last of which was second half of last season for Buxton, where he played 17 times. He might be filler keeper just for the friendly but if he did well, would imagine he would fit what would be required for a back up keeper. Young and probably pretty cheap, but some experience and presumably happy to play back up. Born in Telford too, and then with Wolves too so presumably pretty local.

Weve got recent history with our back up keeper being ex Wolves.
