Another big signing for Burton. Oh what might have been. I think we’re going to be saying and thinking that a lot from now on.

I think we’re going to be saying and thinking that a lot from now on. Look at the signings Burton have made so far - if that was us I'd be in promotion mindset already.

Ah well, I guess we can scratch Burton from the “relegation dogfight” column!

good signing for Burton, they are putting together a good group of young players, with some quality mixed in. Certainly looking at players they can build up and sell on and at the same time should be putting themselves in a good position long term

Burton look set to have a good season. The only team I can feasibly see us finishing above is Crawley.

Just a pity they did not buy town.

Decent enough punts at this level, but out of all of them, there is is very little league one or above experience. Even Orsi might be a marquee signing, but he's 28 with one good season in the football league. They definitely don't scream promotion contenders to me just yet

Savin sounds a done deal , if fully fit a very decent signing. Considering we will likely have a dirt cheap second choice keeper, I’m not sure a keeper with an injury record is top of my list. There again, I guess Marosi came off the back of uncertain times with his knock.

There again, I guess Marosi came off the back of uncertain times with his knock. He ended the season as second keeper for a lower end league 2 side. If he is signed could it be that he's a cheap option himself to compete with another permanent or loan keeper? Or am I expecting too much!

Is the Palace Keeper Joe Whitlock still in contention to come in on loan? I think Doncaster were also in contention who have now signed a keeper.
I'm guessing Brian Jensen is still here. Wonder if he has the input with the keepers.

Has Marosi actually signed for anyone yet or is that more likely when his present contract with town expires at the end of the month.

Marosi was quite accurate with his kicking actually, so much so the guy in block 16 row A seat 16 reported him for harassment 😝

Didn't see Udoh as part of the first team training squad. Perhaps a sign he is off

How did Jack Price get round this last year? Also Aaron Pierre when we were seeing how fit he was?

I guess they just aren't covered and it's the chance the player has to take? Unless there is some kind of training pre-contract they sign which covers them if any injury occurs??

How did Jack Price get round this last year? Also Aaron Pierre when we were seeing how fit he was? Good point, like I said it was something I was told. Maybe,as above, they aren't insured. All employees, whatever the company, are covered by their employers insurance. With football there are obviously additional insurances given the nature of their job. Question is who would pay if Dan came training on Monday and got injured?

Perhaps non contract players who are PFA members are covered by insurance provided by the union?

I believe Mo Eisa is available this summer, his brother would highly recommend Hurst as a manager you’d have thought.
Eisa’s career seems to be on the decline so now within our reach you’d have thought.
