It seems a bit of a jump from £5 forever to £25 a season. I don't think they'll have 1400 cardholders to worry about. I recognise the need for change but I'm not sure we need the scheme at all. It'll be strange if a cardholder has more loyalty point power than someone who has been to more games. towards end of the season I will have more loyalty points than alot of season ticket holders, so it happens already

Certainly not away matches……..All home matches…… you need a ST plus loyalty points to get to Wrexham 😉 Maybe say 10 loyalty points for the card plus whatever you accrue though attending? Just an idea no mention of away but would imagine it would hack of ST as certainly for me that’s the main reason I buy. personally I would like to see away game based on loyalty points only. Give season ticket holders 30 points but if a non season ticket holder has the same or more points they should be able to buy at the same time. Wimbledon away still annoys me that season ticket holders who hadn't been to a single away game got a ticket and I couldn't get one despite having more points. Some of those season ticket holders then returned their tickets when we couldn't win the title. I agree, but then I go away too……. Unfortunately it’s advertised as such and the main reason many buy them and fans are aware of that before the season. Same chance for everyone. Would imagine for Wrexham you’d need a ST and away loyalty points.

Was how being a member benefits you for buying away tickets mentioned? No mention of away tickets within the scheme.

No mention of away tickets within the scheme. shame, that would sway whether I join or not. As an exile season ticket isn't realistic ST holders don’t get any more loyalty points than anyone else. You get them when you buy the ticket so giving the money upfront helps the club, you get rewarded cos you’ve bought the tickets. If you think about it it’s the same with a membership you get the points when you pay for tickets. Why would you get the points for tickets you might buy?

Depends how many points a Sunday lunch would get you to be fair. How many would you award (assuming attending home games remains at 1 and away games 2)?

To be fair, anyone who can figure out when the restaurant is open and book a table, deserves a lot of loyalty points.

How many would you award (assuming attending home games remains at 1 and away games 2)? it would need some consideration but if you've just spent 3 figures on a family meal then I'd say its worthy of as many points as buying a match ticket superstores offer double/ triple whatever points they want depending on the situation , no reason we couldn't incorporate a fair system where anyone spending money at the club could build up a loyalty reward

Typos are another matter, of course, but the importance of clarity and accuracy,in all the various types of communication, cannot either be underestimated nor ignored.

At the meeting the CEO did mention that some club membership schemes also offer a discount on club merchandise. Unfortunately this is not possible at our club due to the way the merchandise contract is set up.

You best have a word with Martin the OP….. he seems to have managed quite well in life….. Fact is it’s not a letter, exam, or anything of any importance so whats wrong if it can’t be misread. Cant remember what it was originally now but Fans Card has an apostrophe.

Unfortunately this is not possible at our club due to the way the merchandise contract is set up. He also mentioned other events like an evening with PH and Dougie doing a double act, breakfast/lunch with the players for kids before the open day exclusive for ST and Members (just examples but mentioned)…. Could include Mascot Packages, or how about an exclusive Shrewsbury Member 2024 badge, some could then collect them.

Could be a limitation on the web package we’ve got. We were supposed to be getting a new club web site for next season but that seems to have gone quiet. This is the Fathers Day advert Contact our hospitality team now to book your place for just £26.95 each for a three-course lunch or £22.95 for two courses - and if you have any special requirements on the day, make sure to let us know!
Call 01743 289177 (ext 206) or email hospitality@shrewsburytown.co.uk to book today! You can view our menu below.

Super Blues membership used to give club Shop discount It did but we don’t run the club shop now so can’t give discounts. Same with Buffets and bars in the concourses. No reason why the club can’t make it a Membership / rewards card with local business offering discounts especially sponsors. Buy a new BMW and Rybrook will give Shrewsbury Members £500 off. Or how about an online discount for Planet Doughnut.

Having said that they did manage to give away free pies to some select fans but best not talk about the ageism’s…..
