Exactly. Presumably the decision hasn’t been made while they are on holiday.

They seemed to have found time to delete stuff before they went? If you can't finish the job, don't start it until you get back. Ok I'll ask What was deleted ? Presumably all the information about fan cards and presumably without any explanation.

Just stop defending absolutely rank customer service, you know it,I know it,we all know it. It's typical of the club, just when it looked that things where getting better with the appointment of Liam we've gone backwards again. Perhaps it's time you asked questions as to why it's happened?

Thanks for that. I see if we click for more information the page can’t be found. I assume this means it’s out of date.
I still think it’s unprofessional. There must be someone there as they are keeping the Marvin Morgan match info up to date.

I tell you what is typical, someone starting a thread asking a question, me giving an honest reply, me trying to help and me taking the flak, how about just contact the club with this sudden extremely urgent life of death drama that we need to get to the bottom of yesterday and get off my back

'Post by ProudSalopian on 4 hours ago Does anyone know if these are still a thing?
I've found the fan card section on the website but on the page it says 'No memberships are available', there is a link to more information but when I click on the link it just says this page could not be found.'
Not being able to find the page means it's been deleted

maybe they are busy working on the new website instead maybe they are always unavailable when there are no planned games in the system maybe they might only open a few weeks into the season like they originally were, I mean everyone will go to the first game anyway wont they ? in the mean time, heres what you might be looking for on the site www.shrewsburytown.com/siteassets/documents/1819/tickets/fancard-leaflet.pdf

Sorry Pilch, perhaps you shouldn't let us get on your back in the first place? Your first reply to the OP could have been "Contact the club"

Exactly. It’s just another example of how unprofessional the club is when dealing with its customers.
Website out of date, phones not answered, emails not replied to without a follow up and I’m sure there are many other things that could be improved that would just make all the difference. No professional business would have all its staff on holiday at the same time so that’s nonsense. I thought next season’s kit was to be available from the last home game. Is there an update as to why this wasn’t so?

Thing I find useful about the fan cards is I can load my tickets on to them rather than have to collect a ticket or spend money having it sent to me. I know I tend to arrive early and collect away tickets but if I am cutting it fine for a game I don't have to worry about ticket collection.

So I’ve read the leaflet and clicked on for an adult and it says service is unavailable.
If they are working on a new web site how come they can update the Marvin Morgan information.

I genuinely think there is a general malaise around the club and something quite dynamic needs to happen to put this right and as soon as possible.

But that’s the point. The web site isn’t down it’s working. It just isn’t being updated to tell fans what they need to know when they are planning for their arrangements for next season. It’s bad customer relations and extremely unprofessional. Sadly, it’s nothing new.

OK let's stop before this turns into a moderator witch hunt, which actually isn't fair.
The problem lies with the clubs lack of communication. Pilch is part of the "fan inclusion group",so he constantly defends the club from adverse comments and criticism Result is more people pile on giving Pilch more grief,
In the meantime time the club continue to do nothing ( as outlined in Sheila's post)
So...the answer would be for Pilch,or anyone else who is involved with the fan group,to compile a list of our questions and ask for answers at the next fan group meeting
We're not trying to start a revolution here, we're just asking for the answers to promises that the club previously gave us ref the loss, the new kit etc

It doesn't always need to be on here or a hot post to have happened!

IF supporters are unhappy/concerned/miffed or whatever then take the bull by the horns and e mail the ticket office/CEO or whoever and ask the question. It seems to me no one is 100% sure if this initiative has been withdrawn or not.

As I started the thread, I should stress that we don't know whether they still exist or not, which is why I asked the question. As I've said above, all we know is the website is saying they are not available and the CEO has publicly said he's not a fan of them. It's obviously easy to jump to conclusions and assume they have been shelved, or it could simply be that the website is wrong and they are still available
I asked on here because I wondered if I had missed anything and whether anyone knew for definite either way, it seems they don't. The season has barely finished so lets see what the coming months bring and whether the club/Liam clarify this. Hopefully it is confirmed that they still exist

You’re only looking at it from the clubs point of view with our poor scheme….(not sure what the Americans have got to do with it) With ours a one off payment of £5 gives you discount forever. Crew charge £20 per season for a membership card but give £4 off a match ticket, discounted away travel, loyalty points / priority for big games and a discount at the club shop. Means they can charge away fans £4 more and not breach fair pricing rules. I was never keen when I was an away fan but there are ways to launch schemes that reward both the fan and the club. Think they call it dynamic pricing. www.crewealex.net/tickets/membership-faq/#:~:text=Adults%20£20%2C%20Seniors%20(60,priority%20on%20Cup%20%26%20Away%20tickets. maybe that deal suits crewe Maybe Liam needs to find a deal that suits Shrewsbury, rewards loyal fans and increases attendances. Closed season now, can understand suspending the old scheme (was it even available last year for new cards?) but think of something to replace it. One ideas a book of 10 tickets for any game £180 or 5 tickets £100… Fans like an identity and there’s nothing bringing fans together.
