Spoken to club and it’s still being looked at, same with a few other things. Once we get any further info will update 👍 Heaven forbid the club look at a membership card scheme - I have bad memories of the Clubs last two attempts at introducing these !!! 🙄

IF supporters are unhappy/concerned/miffed or whatever then take the bull by the horns and e mail the ticket office/CEO or whoever and ask the question. It seems to me no one is 100% sure if this initiative has been withdrawn or not.
Has anyone ever got a reply from an email to the ticket office? I have got more replies from letter to Santa!

OK let's stop before this turns into a moderator witch hunt, which actually isn't fair. The problem lies with the clubs lack of communication. Pilch is part of the "fan inclusion group",so he constantly defends the club from adverse comments and criticism Result is more people pile on giving Pilch more grief, In the meantime time the club continue to do nothing ( as outlined in Sheila's post) So...the answer would be for Pilch,or anyone else who is involved with the fan group,to compile a list of our questions and ask for answers at the next fan group meeting We're not trying to start a revolution here, we're just asking for the answers to promises that the club previously gave us ref the loss, the new kit etc not sure where I defended the club , I actually gave the likes of you more ammo by saying the plan was to possibly stop the fan card, and then suggested it might cost them money running it and also its the week after the season ended, its quiet, maybe they should take their holidays in august like most of us same s**t different day on here, feels almost like saying anything remotely positive about the club I support is a crime these days Hi Pilch If you are at the Marvin game, happy to buy you a drink to cheer you up, I will be there and can answer any questions you or others have if I can. One problem, I have no idea what you look like....

I'm late to the thread but wasn't the fan card a Brian Caldwell thing? I completely forgot about them but if they were still available I'd likely participate as I go to around a third of the games.

All this thread does is to highlight how pathetically amateurish we still are run, even in this day and age, we're run like we're back at the GM in 2005

Fan card will remain
But it will be a new scheme that's now renewable annually
Initial price will be £25 adults & £15 concessions
The saving for those will be £4 and £2 per game
Holders will be guaranteed a match ticket if you require one including cup games
Those with existing fan cards who believed it was a lifetime investment , will have their initial £5 returned if they join the new membership ( eg £5 discount )
An adult will save after 7 games , concession after 8

Needs to be fair to season ticket holders so figures could change.

Good from Dooley.

If I'm being critical I'd say that 7 games is maybe a little too many to be attractive to lots of people, although in fairness I wasn't expecting there to be as many as 1400 used last season and can see why it maybe needed to change.
Glad that a halfway house between season tickets and one off tickets will continue to exist, anyway.

Just listening in and looking to this thread it does look a little all over the shop. And whilst I'm all for giving fans benefits and help to afford and attend games, the current setup (with it being 5 pounds for life) does seem a tad generous. You do need something that appeals to those who perhaps can't afford a season ticket or don't plan to attend every game. What is now proposed looks about right.
Perhaps when they introduce the new membership scheme they ought to mention that all the other stuff we have seen mentioned on here are now obsolete too, just to clear the decks.

That will be a pretty big benefit of getting one in.

Can't see that happening. Home games it's an easy give away as if you have been to 1 game in a season you will get a ticket for any home all.ticket games

It seems a bit of a jump from £5 forever to £25 a season.
I don't think they'll have 1400 cardholders to worry about.
I recognise the need for change but I'm not sure we need the scheme at all. It'll be strange if a cardholder has more loyalty point power than someone who has been to more games.

Just an idea no mention of away but would imagine it would hack of ST as certainly for me that’s the main reason I buy.

Give season ticket holders 30 points but if a non season ticket holder has the same or more points they should be able to buy at the same time. Wimbledon away still annoys me that season ticket holders who hadn't been to a single away game got a ticket and I couldn't get one despite having more points. Some of those season ticket holders then returned their tickets when we couldn't win the title.
