Big surprise that Marosi hasn't got fixed up for the start of the new season. I was convinced he would be Championship bound or at least a big league one club. His agent doesn't seem to have done his job. Something not quite right there.

Yes it’s all very odd. I assumed when he didn’t stay that he was already fixed up.

I notice Roshaun Williams is without a club still. Had a 6 month stint in Ireland and was released in the summer. I’d guess that was probably his decision as much as there’s. 5 years ago I thought he would be a top league 1 defender/championship in 2024 - but he seems to have declined significantly Northern Ireland btw, so even worse standard than League of Ireland. He did play every game and they won the league, so one presumes as you say it was more his decision than theirs. But yeah that was more than 2 months ago. Still no club.

He only went out there in the first place to play as nobody showed interest in England

Aiden O'Brien was mentioned in an article in yesterday's Times as being one of the participants in the training camp for PFA members without a contract - other well known names in the same program are Ciaran Clarke, Dwight Gayle, Ravel Morrison and Carl Jenkinson. O'Brien says its the latest he has ever been out of contract but he is still only 30 so some club might take a punt on him.

I see both Udoh and Burgoyne started on the bench for their new teams yesterday.

Maybe he has the same ‘illness’ as his bestie, Marcus Rashford!

Aidan Obrien has signed a multi year deal for Shelbourne in Dublin.
So the man who wanted to move closer to his London roots, moves abroad to Ireland.

Indeed but then again he may not show up! Contracts mean nothing to him.

Technically his roots are Irish but I see what you mean.
That's quite a fall from grace for him either way.

Tyrese Fornah has joined Salford on a season long loan from Derby, that seems a level below for him but good luck to the kid, he was good at Town.

He played for Larne who are owned by the Purple Bricks owner. Paying big wages to tempt names from England over like Ro-Shaun. He bought the league just like Ambramovich or Wob/Wyan

Killian Phillips has joined Idowu at St Mirren. Initially on loan but then joins permanently next summer.

Not sure, I'd imagine Killian Phillips thinks he's probably a different standard - they have dropped dramatically now. Very much the individual that guy.

Phillips is a strange one. Looked an absolute baller when he was here, yet it sounds like he’s been pretty bang average everywhere else. Surprised he didn’t get a Championship move immediately after his spell with us.

Freddie Ladapo has just been released by Ipswich... Guess that would make him a free agent so could sign outside of the window? Can he play central defence though..

One for us oldies😁 Who remembers goalkeeper Ryan Esson, who managed 6 first team starts for us plus 1 for Hereford United during the period 2006-2008.
He then returned to the Highlands and played and coached at Inverness C.T until this summer.
He has reappeared as the new Head Coach at the worst side in the Highlands League, Strathspey Thistle.
Ryan took over in mid August following "The Jags" losing their opening 5 matches and so far has lost 3 and inexplicably won 1,a 3-0 victory over Lossiemouth. However his losses have included an 8-2 loss at Brora and a 7-0 tonking at Brechin City on Saturday
Not surprisingly Strathspey are bottom of the Highlands League having played 9 won 1 lost 8 with 3 points and an already mighty -33 goal difference.
Good Luck Ryan you're going to need it😳

Doesnt seem to be any relegation from it.
