Not sure if I e miss4d anything but have the players released got fixed up yet? We know about Udoh, Dunkley. What about the likes of Marosi, Bowman, Flanagan, OBrien, etc? Iv just seen Bowman has gone to Cheltenham on a one year contract Has this actually happened? Has Bowman gone to Cheltenham, haven’t seen anything formally announced? |

Josh Emmanuel RB, who many predicted we might be interested in still available Hurst is clearly aware of him so if that illness is no longer an issue and he is as good as he was when he was with us last time, then I'm sure he will be being considered. |

With the Scottish Premiership starting at the weekend it is looking likely that Marko Marosi is not going to Hibs after all - Rotherham and Wrexham also seem to have found keepers elsewhere. Will he have a team by the start of the season ?

I'm curious to see where Marosi ends up.
Obviously there's the wage demand aspect of it.
But also, I wonder whether his weak distribution skills are affecting things too.
More and more teams want to play out from the back, and there is a generation of keepers who have been trained in that coming through.
Can Marosi perform the duties asked of him in that style of play?
It's far too early to say for certain, but Jayson Leutwiler was a great shot stopper who wasn't great with his feet. Whilst he got a move up the leagues, hes spent his career since then sitting on the bench because his lack of distribution (in part) means he's not good enough to be number 1.

Agree with everything that has been said in the last couple of posts. With the Scottish leagues starting this Saturday and the Football League next weekend it's very unlikely he's going to secure the first choice slot with any team in the UK as no manager would leave it this late.
Could be that he's off abroad.I do wonder if the stupid amount that we paid him,and therefore what he expects,has put prospective employers off as far worse keepers than Marco have got themselves fixed up.
Anyway good luck wherever you end up

Marosi and O'Brien both featuring in games for PFA non-contracted players teams this evening so presumably still waiting for any meaningful offers. Longer ago but ex players Jayson Leutwiler and Romaine Sawyers also playing. Wouldn't say no to the latter coming back but think we've got enough potentially unfit players for now |

Read last week that ex keeper Mark Halstead was released by Torquay and headed back to the north west and had signed for Widnes FC

I notice Roshaun Williams is without a club still. Had a 6 month stint in Ireland and was released in the summer. I’d guess that was probably his decision as much as there’s.
5 years ago I thought he would be a top league 1 defender/championship in 2024 - but he seems to have declined significantly
