I do. Dont mean Steve any harm but I'd still like to see the club relegated back to where they belong. Why don’t FGR belong in the Football League? That sounds like the ‘We should be beating the likes of Shrewsbury’ statement we hear from fans of Sunderland, Ipswich etc. FGR aren’t the first team to break into the FL thanks largely to a big money backer and won’t be the last. Moving up a league and sustaining that place at any level requires an injection of funding beyond what can be generated through traditional income streams. The alternative would be the closed shop that prevailed for decades where chairmen usually voted for their mates to stay in the league, often at the expense of very deserving non-league clubs. I would rather put up with the likes of FGR, Fleetwood and Wrexham than that. Ok, maybe not Wrexham. 😃 We will have to agree to disagree.

I brought this up before but never really understood why people look at the likes of Forest Green, Sutton and Harrogate and consider they have no right to be in the FL whilst the likes of Chesterfield, Oldham, Southend, Rochdale (proper clubs apparently!!) languish in the National League. They are down there for a reason and have no inherent right to a place in the FL. I suppose the same label has been applied to the likes of Burton, Cheltenham, Crawley, Fleetwood, Wycombe and the like - all new to the FL when they got promoted but now properly established.

Anyone of Bromley, Solihull Motors, Gateshead or Altrincham could be in the FL at the start of next season. Good luck to all of them.

One day gates of 8k plus then they folded They won the Northern Premier to get to the Conference in the late 80s but hadn’t got a ground suitable to play on. Tried to play at Turf Moore and were going to have a new ground in Nelson. Never happened and the owner pulled out and they folded. My wife’s from Nelson it’s still talked about.

Many more just being funded until they arent and they crash and burn. Would prefer to see the likes of the old established clubs coming back. Well done to Chesterfield, Notts County, Stockport and (yes even) Wrexham for getting back into the FL. Plenty more I'd hope to see back in the next few years.

He's said whenever there was a disconnect between the fans and the players he would try and bring us together. Not sure how that is a dig at anyone??

Wrexham, Notts County and Stockport have spent massively to get back into the football league. Is their over-spending ok because they are former football league clubs?

When Hurst went to Grimsby there were frequent posts about him. Simpson is still posted about. Sam is posted about on his builders supply business. If Sam or MT get a football job they will be posted about. Once you've been a Salop manager you are never forgotten.

Cotterill is in full swing down there, I'll of course be listening to Shrews vs Lincoln on Tuesday but will doublably urging him and FGR on against Wrexham as well.

Check B&A to see if other people think the same as you? :-)

Here we go again zzzzzzz
Speaking of bets I tipped town to remain unchanged and sneak it yesterday
Meanwhile others agree with a 4/0 defeat 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
They said f all at 0-1 or 0-2
Piped up at 2-2 with moans
And forgot to say well down after we won , said nothing actually
Just saying

A reminder has been sent to all 6,500+ members on B&A, some of whom haven't sent congratulations to Shrewsbury on their 3-2 away victory at Reading.

Old Doc Proc was on about no one could possibly want MK Dons to win against them. He forgot the ideal scenario would be MK Dons took six points off Wrexham, but no points off anyone else
