We’re not going to sign him. Hursty will want a lot of energy in the middle of the park. Non stop running getting back and forward. Relegation? Hurst binned? We sign him? Frightening thoughts, apart from perhaps "We sign him", but not beyond the bounds of possibility. Beyond the bounds of possibility is Hurst leaves to manage a Championship team.
Hurst is clearing his desk out as we speak......🙃

If fit I’d give him the chance to prove himself between now and end of the season, nothing to lose and gives us an extra body. Saw Taylor Moore was at the last game and he’s a free agent…. I wonder

I wonder Jack price hasn't stepped on a football pitch in nearly a year and hasn't completed 90 mins in nearly 2 years. Not a hope in hell he's match fit. Can't see anything saying Taylor Moore is a free agent. Has he been released? Hasnt appeared in Valenciennes last few matches but was on their bench as recently as Feb 10th

See another thread where we’ve signed a youngster until the end of the season.
So looks like Price is over.

Spotted MM in the pizza restaurant next to the Music Hall yesterday afternoon but it was not JP he was talking to. So, who was it?? Rayhaan Tulloch ⚽️

Have I got to watch much longer, I’m getting bored 🥱 I’d been told a free agent would be on the bench today, can I claim half points?

Midfield is still a problem. If JP can prove his fitness he would surely be worth a go until the end of the season.

Unnecessary signing imo. In the summer maybe but I think we already have enough to stay up so it would just be a waste of a wage this season.

What we need is a cool head in defence/midfield who can just put his foot on the ball and calm things down when we are under the cosh, just like at times yesterday.

Taylor Moore was interviews in the sovereign suite at the Blackpool game. He didn’t say he was a free agent just that his situation is complicated and he doesn’t know quite what’s happening

The deal should be completed this week. Exactly the type of player we need in my opinion.

The whole ‘he’s coming, he’s not coming’ saga has dragged on too long. We need to concentrate on getting out of the mire we’re in without being distracted by this ongoing circus. If he does sign, that’s because no one else wants to take on the risk. And signing him is a risk.

A squad next season that includes Taylor Moore and Jack Price is a very promising thought.

OK he may still have friends at the club or within town but it may be more, especial Valenciennes are having a torrid time and Moore isn't a regular

I don't see it as a big risk. I see it as a move that suits all parties. If he can come in and play anywhere near the level he has played in the past, then I'm sure he will aid our bid to avoid relegation. A calm head in the middle of the park who can pass a ball is something we have been crying out for all season. He's been training with us for a bit now, so I'm sure if Hurst isn't impressed, the move will not happen.

For me would be a completely pointless signing, hasn't played in forever and so by the time he’s got even up to half speed it’ll be the end of the season and he’ll likely be off somewhere else. What must the likes of Kenneh, Perry and Bennett be thinking if we’d rather gamble on a crock?
The squad is s**te (as shown at Lincoln when we made a number of changes), but there’s enough to get us safely through what’s left of this season, so save the money and crack on in the summer.

Would love to sign Taylor Moore but can’t see us being able to afford him

Had no idea Taylor Moore was being touted as coming back to us. Makes sense as Pierre is out and we’re a bit short at the back especially if Sraha or Dunkley got suspended or injured.

He was across for the Blackpool match as he’s having a s**t time of it in France, but he’s still under contract there and won’t be joining us, or anyone else, this season.

He's on a 3 year contract as far as I'm aware.

What's the point in signing him if it's going to take him at least a number of those games to get up to speed? I too think that this will he/wont he? saga has dragged on far too long and is an unnecessary distraction to the crucial run in.

Would it be a risk if we only signed him on a very short term deal until the end of this season, where we can take a look at him and he can take a look at us?
