Subs: Burgoyne, Bowman, Kenneh, Bennett, Sraha, O'Brien, Perry.
Nohan Kenneh replace Tunmise Sobowale on the bench.

Same team as expected.
Shame not to see Sobowale on the bench. He is a good option to have, especially when you have Bennett, Kenneh and Perry all there covering broadly the same part of the pitch. Other than that not much to complain about though. Same XI who have done pretty well in most games under Hurst.
Expect to see more subs today though. This is the first time town have played twice in a week since the start of the year.
Fingers crossed Dunks manages to stay on the pitch longer than 4 minutes this time, and hopefully we've got a good match ahead of us!

I suspect also that the manager wants to give all the ‘fringe’ players a good chance to prove themselves before decisions are made at the end of the season.

Poor game not helped by a whistle happy ref and a Wigan team playing keep ball with their defenders.
Town have not got going yet but got better as the half went on.
Few players that need a kick up the ass at half time as they have been sloppy on the ball.

One or two moments for Town I suppose but Wigan the better team. I'd say that's the worst 45 we have seen since Hurst came back, maybe he's working them too hard in the week.

Possibly one of the worst 45 minutes I've ever seen. Two dire teams. It has to improve.

Not sure who's controlling ifollow today but they are useless! Showing a replay whilst the ball is in play

We've had one or two of those situations ourselves but the ball just didn't drop for us whereas it did for them.

We looked so much better when playing 4 3 3. I'm struggling to see Hinchy's quality.

I'd bring perry and Bennett on for Hinchy and Feeney

Perry coming on a chance for him to make up for his Barnsley performance. The situation is different this time as we are chasing the game. Fingers crossed.

Enough chances to win 10 games.
Doesn't look like it's doing to be our day.

1 win in 5 since the snake returned.
Gutted we didn't get the new manager bounce nearly every other team seems to get ☹️

Another depressing Saturday evening...very frustrating today.
It of course comes with the territory, the ups and downs of following the Town.

Deep in it arent we eeeekkkk Yet pretty much a match for Wigan, Barnsley and Derby. A slice of luck and some scoring boots can save us.

This was a game town badly needed to win, so if the score does not change this will be disappointing.

One of those days were the ball just would not go in. We were poor today, Wigan were not much better.
11 minutes of madness at the end but we just couldn't get that slice of luck.
Pierre my MOTM by a mile.
Hinchy, Winchester, Bennett, Shipley, bloxham and Udoh all had a poor game.
Perry and Kenneh looked decent when they came on.
A frustrating one and one to forget. Onto the next.

Pretty poor until we made the 4 subs, looked knackered, slow and passive
Saying that, it’s been a fair few years since we’ve seen a 15/20 minute onslaught at the end like that. No ides how we didn’t score 2 from point blank range, let alone all the other corners, crosses and balls flying around wigans area
Perhaps the 11 needed freshening up today?
A word for the Ref - don’t bother rushing back you useless clown. Worst in a long time
