Everybody been ' bigging' Liverpool up,so I watched them closely against palace the other week.....they were shocking....and yesterday even worse, playing against a poor utd side, and a 35 yr old centre half, they didn't create one clear cut chance.i can't see Salah staying there to long after next summer, and even he was poor yesterday

As for calling one of the top PL teams "shocking" I would be interested to hear the descriptive words you use with regards to the team currently in 57th place...oh and while you're at it your mates in 71st place as wellš

If I were Liverpool and the Saudis wanted to pay anything north of Ā£150m for Salah I'd rip their arms off; I'd also chuck Nunez in for a tenner, he's woeful for the money they paid.
Liverpools recruitment is so mixed, Szoboszlai looks classy, whereas Endo looked out of his depth for me yesterday.

The "Anfield Atmosphere" is a complete myth. I've experienced it multiple times from the away end and hospitality in various games.
Quick rendition of YNWA and it's cameras out and quiet. It does improve a little on European Thursdays.

Apologies for disturbing the anti Liverpool vibe, but Odergaard scooping the ball away with his hand from inside the penalty area seems to have escaped notice.
Re Old Trafford, my BiL is a season ticket holder and and been complaining about the leaking roof above his seat for at least 5 years.

Do any fans like VAR? I think itās a disaster, it doesnāt prevent controversy and slows the game. And where it might have helped like the sending off of Boly for a superb tackle it couldnāt intervene. Save technology for line decisions and off the ball incidents that the officials donāt see.
My Dad used to say that only 3 people were neutral in football, the ref and assistants. Tell players and staff to accept decisions and severely punish dissent.

I only want something to interfere with the referee if it's 99.9% proof technology such as goal line technology.
I don't want some helmet sat in a room who's never played football overruling the referee on every little thing and killing the enthusiasm of the game.

I suspect your dad was from the days when there wasnāt so much money involved in the game and players werenāt such ācelebritiesā and paid so much,
The advent of the Premirr League, Sky TV, etc., have changed everything so much that fans and players from that time wouldnāt recognise the game they knew and loved then. Iām probably at the end of that era too. I hate what has happened now.
As for Anfield, I went the once and loathed it.
I think the title of the thread needs changing. Itās very confusing.

Other errors can be put down to human error.
