Everton may be deducted 12 points for breaching FFP rules. That's them down if it happens.

Why Everton and not Man City? Carragher says if they get hit with full sanctions they'll end up in the National League North. I wish that would happen. 😂🤣

You would like that wouldn't you. I actually think you may find Newcastle are sailing close to the wind as well..... What makes you think that? There's a difference between pushing the top end of FFP and blowing it out the water by a few hundred million. Difference as well is Everton have absolutely nothing to show for it. Newcastle are in the Champions League, the fans are engaged and the club is massively on the up. We have lots of exciting young players, a lot of British talents, a British manager. 8/11 in the starting XI on Saturday were English alone, never mind British.

The reason Citehhh haven’t been done yet is because they have very rich owners who can be very “helpful” to UEFA in numerous ways, especially financially! Everton are skint and can’t “help” UEFA.

dropping out of the premier would hit them hard though, I looked at their stats the other day and have them for a comfortable top half finish, but a points reduction wont help, if anything I could see any points reduction being at the start of next season

Coventry, Derby, Bolton, Reading, Portsmouth, Blackburn, Wigan, Charlton and that's just off the top of my head. I would be beyond delighted if it happens to Everton. Truth be told, I'm delighted when it happens to any club. Yes, I feel for the fans, but only to a point, after all, they enjoy the good times that spending money they can't afford brings them, so they have to suffer the bad. The sooner there's a fairer distribution of the money at the top of the game the sooner this will sort itself out. The premier league will still be the best in the world and they'll still have the best players, they just won't be slaves to feeling like they have to pay such ridiculous, and manifesly unaffordable wages, often on very mediocre players, just to keep up with the Joneses.

I'd love to see it happen to any of the big boys from the Premier. Everton, but would love it even more to be City.

If they don't dock them the 12 pts... They will stop up, but they're way over the 105 million limit, over the last 3 yrs....so can't see how they can avoid it🤷🤷

I doubt it’s as black and white as being made out in the media

Well. I hope Everton stay up, the Merseyside derby, the tradition of being in the top division. Trouble is that the Derby is so one sided nowadays that it's become boring. Look at Klopps record against them P 18,W 11,D 6, L 1 A season in The Championship would probably help to revitalise them. ATM they are nothing more than Premier League alsorans

Why Everton and not Man City? Look at City's player offloadings/selling and worldwide income every year. Everton have very small worldwide income but spending has been huge. Chelsea are the same their offloadings for players who haven't played a game for them is huge but their spend has been big. But they still comply with FFP.

I think I may be confusing them with Arsenal. Arsenal, Everton and then Liverpool are 1st, 2nd and 3rd in terms of longevity.

Everton have played the most top flight games 4518 followed by Arsenal 4138, however Arsenal currently have played the most consecutive season in the top flight.

Chelsea are the same their offloadings for players who haven't played a game for them is huge but their spend has been big. But they still comply with FFP. City make a lot of money on transfers, they're very clever. Just recently got £45m for Palmer which is pure profit in FFP terms. Chelsea are the same in terms of bringing in money although they've totally lost the plot on transfers in. Everton lack assets to sell to satisfy FFP, mainly due to spunking hundreds of millions on below average players. Newcastle were similar until we ousted Ashley although he tended to prefer p**s poor out of contract players on massive wages that we now can't shift like Jeff Hendrick, Ryan Fraser etc.
