Starmer absolutely sliced and diced Truss at PMQs. She had nothing to offer. Hunt is unlikely to have anything to offer on 31 October either. She did u turn on the u turn of pension triple lock so Davey Crocket will be happy. Hopefully all Pensioners relying on their pensions will be happy it’s keeping up with inflation as per the Tory mandate, Boris’s promise and Liz Truss’s previous promise. Mind you she promised there’d be no spending cuts 4 days ago so wouldn’t trust this won’t change.

And now Suella Braverman resigns as Home Secretary, what next? Matt Hancock's return. The country is in need of a safe pair of wandering hands.

And what’s all this nonsense about the Tory whips turning the fracking vote into a de facto vote of confidence in the Truss government?
That will make an interesting dilemma for their MPs in shire constituencies whose voters are vehemently opposed to fracking.

Oh yeah really angry and upset about how his mates are going to lose their £80k a year jobs and almost limitless expenses. Actually got around to caring about the constituents at the very end after bleating about how the Tory MP's are going to pay their mortgages.

Only suprise is that Liz Truss has become a disaster so quickly. It was only ever going to be a matter of time but she has exceeded expectations. The lack of political talent to replace her is disturbing and that goes for all the parties as well. With Starmer now counting down the days till he becomes PM, admittedly a long count still, the UK has never faced such political doom before. Anyone's better then the Tories everyone shouts! I have to disagree. The PM in waiting is one of the main reasons Boris Johnson won a landslide with his cunning Brexit strategy!

Never been a fan of reality tv shows but whats going on at the moment is unmissable tv. Liz Truss is a certainty for Strictly next year as the comedy celebrity.

Starmer was the architect of Labours disastrous stance on Brexit. It was well known by anyone who bothered to look beyond the rhetoric that Corbyn was/is a Euro skeptic.

At least with Johnson you know what you are getting. A charlatan. Starmer is, in my opinion, more dangerous, like Blair. A Tory in Socialist clothing...

I have a lot of sympathy for the woman - what a s**t show of a job for anybody to walk in to currently To be fair, she wasn't forced to apply for the job and she wasn't forced to try to push through a lunatic, ruinous economic strategy. Entirely the architect of her own downfall.

She was quite clearly far too ill-prepared and naive for the challenges faced and only succeeding in worsening them. Won’t be missed.
