An open top bus parade for a couple of domestic cups won on penalties. You couldn't write it! Tinpot.

It was all organised days before the match - a bit like Milton Keynes advertising their dead certain trip to Wembley!

Going back to the game and seeing more claims (and counter claims), there are a couple of different elements to it. The first is what happened before the match and what caused the delays. The second is what happened after the match, I'm seeing lots of stories/video's of Liverpool and Madrid fans being attacked by gangs of locals, apparently nearby to the stadium is quite a notorious suburb in Paris and there was no police presence, I know a few Liverpool fans from Shrewsbury who've said on FB that it was a horrific experience and they are just relieved to have made it home.
Paris reminds of London (and probably most major cities), some fantastic areas in the city centre but take a wrong turning and quite quickly you are into areas you really don't want to be in. I went there a few years back with my wife, I wouldn't rush back as there were a number of places you didn't feel safe.

such a relief, I knew iftwould be nothing to do with Liverpool fans by the way, if I produce a fake ticket that matches the barcode from genuine one, and get in the ground before they do, guess what happens when they try to get in ?

The Stade de France has held many big football matches and other events, apparently without trouble. Why does it go wrong when Liverpool fans turn up??

None of us were in Paris yesterday so pointing the finger of blame without knowing the full picture is therefore very premature and unhelpful in the circumstances. There are a lot of unanswered questions at the moment as to how events unfolded as they did. Hopefully the authorities will fully investigate ASAP. You could say that none of us were in Texas, therefore we shouldn’t comment on the shooting, which would be equally ridiculous.

Is there an argument for stadiums increasing their capacities? The demand for these games is always huge and population is increasing…

Unfortunately that's not the case with some posters, as seen on this thread.

Unfortunately that's not the case with some posters, as seen on this thread. you once started a thread demanding to know about the right to reply on here after a thread got moved, a thread you clearly read and were the last to post on and laughed at the serious abuse on it, someone was screaming out for it to be moved, when I eventually saw it I moved it right away, even though the thread was totally nothing to do with me, you felt the need to start a witch hunt and sat back whilst fingers were pointed my way and even joined in here's the thread I moved, ( ive put it back for the purpose of this post ) blueandamber.proboards.com/thread/96883/stateand here's the one you started right after blueandamber.proboards.com/thread/96892/right-reply-on-boardas for the post you have just made, within reason was it? as for the right of reply I wish I had that luxury on here, clearly I don't

Why has this thread got the anchor sign by it and I presume that’s why it doesn’t go back to the top of the page even when there’s a new post?

I've started dropping an anchor on all threads once they are trashed, those that want to keep posting can do so without it getting in the faces of those that don't

Is it that interesting? We've been bored to death with it since Saturday. I'll await the independent investigation.

we all know the outcome , no matter how much cctv they look at etc it won't show if they had no ticket , a genuine ticket or a fake
all evidence is lost forever after the event , no blame will be able to be pinned on anyone , the authorities will be made to look daft and be demanded to apologise
the culprits ( and there are many ) get away with it and will do it again next time
just my opinion that

One is promotion. One is a couple of domestic trophies won on penalties in a season where Liverpool were destined for the "Quadruple". The trophy parade was chosen the day after the UCL Final because they thought it was in the bag. Oh how we laughed.

A parade for coming runners up in a low division versus a parade for winning the two largest domestic trophies on offer and you think you are the ones laughing...really?
The hypocrisy is strong in some it seems...
I believe success should be celebrated.
