Absolutely brilliant. Wrexham and Liverpool in the same day, couldn’t of happened to two nicer set of fans. One league title and a couple of cups for Liverpool when they’re this good isn’t enough, you simply have to win more than this when you’re on top because it won’t last forever, quadruple, jeez, next joke.

Five and half hours played in finals, and no goals scored. Lucky to have won two.

Whatever happened to You’ll never walk alone? Liverpool end virtually empty by the time their players get runners up medals…

Absolutely hilarious, what a weekend! Couldn't happen to a bigger set of tossers either, them and Wrexham.
And for those saying I should support an English side, there wasn't one ... "Scouse not English"
Hala Madrid 👍

even though a liverpool player played it 😜 Intentionately? You taking the p**s? In what universe would Fabinho intentionally play it to Benzema? It hit two Liverpool players, how on earth anyone thinks that isn't a goal is mad!

From Law 11:
“ A player in an offside position receiving the ball from an opponent who deliberately plays the ball, including by deliberate handball, is not considered to have gained an advantage, unless it was a deliberate save by any opponent.”
It wasn’t deliberate when it came off the Liverpool player (either of them!), so however bizarre it seems, it was in fact the correct decision.

I didn’t make the rules, nor do I think they needed changing but changed they were and that has led to decisions, mainly at the highest level that have baffled us over the season. Football is a simple game so why keep tinkering.

The fact that the Liverpool player didn’t intentionally play it to Benzema, shouldn’t mean he’s offside, in my opinion.
The lawmakers, seem to be determined to find ways to disallow goals.

I ask again, when would Fabinho ever intentionally play it to Benzema? It's hardly deflected, it's hit Konate, then Fabinho has played it.

Interestingly given by the linesman immediately.. Good job they have experts to explain these things.

I think the sheer number that travelled increased the risk of fans storming the gate a la Wembley so caused an increase in security, which caused frustration and inpatients for the fans queuing hence more increased security and no doubt (in my mind) a few opportunists trying to gain entry…. the French police don’t mess about waiting for an incident they preempt it.

Liverpool fans have a history in Europe for this kind of thing, 3 times now…….of course they are victims again.

there's 2 sides to every story 1 VAR makes an incorrect decision against Liverpools opponents 2 VAR makes an incorrect decision in Liverpools favour

So the French police/authorities and UEFA blame the Liverpool fans whilst the Liverpool police/fans blame the police. This sounds familiar.
I saw an interesting post this morning, football fans will complain about policing at football and how they are treated, particularly abroad, however when fans of a rival club are involved then all of a sudden they are quick to rush to the defence of the police and condemn the fans.
I've seen videos of Madrid fans and groups of locals involved in skirmishes with the police and breaking into the ground but all of the focus/blame is on Liverpool fans allegedly arriving late and breaking into the ground. I'm certainly no lover of Liverpool but you can see why they would feel aggrieved about the whole situation

we all know this kind of thing goes on, but you would think if there was just one club in the whole world that didn't do this for obvious reasons it would be Liverpool , their fans have no respect for their own club or safety of their own fans and yet we saw how they reacted when one idiot at Shrewsbury half heartedly sang a song.

Fake tickets Chaos at the turnstyles Tear gas and pepper spray used on fans whose behaviour our own police there didn't feel warranted it. Commercial razzamataz Disputed VAR Only one goal All that way just to see Real Madrid win "their" competition again. Queues at the ports
I tell you this, when Shrewsbury get to the Champions League final you can count me out

Liverpool fans have a history in Europe for this kind of thing, 3 times now…….of course they are victims again. And that’s the message that just doesn’t get through to them. Their reputation goes before them and always will I’m afraid. Also I doubt the club would be making such a big thing of it if they’d won the match.

The problem is well behaved fans and families get caught up in any trouble and, because of Liverpool fan's reputation, riot police are quick to reach for the pepper spray.

Madrid players must be waking up this morning thinking that last night was a dream, a dream that they won a game after being battered for 90 minutes , and but for their Keeper playing the game of his life, would have been on the end of a serious tonking.
Last night was the most one sided Final I think I have ever watched.
