Whoever we get will think have a virtual bye looking at our results so far this season!

Whenever we are not playing well as like this season I always want to (a) avoid a non league team and (b) draw someone from our own division away.
That way we can just bow out gracefully without any embarrassment.

Weve had enough 'Staines' from non league teams over the seasons.

Saw this advertised during the England game last night, who do we want to go through and play? Must admit I don’t know where about a quarter of the teams are from. Corinthian casuals would be quite cool. Sadly I've been to most of them apart from a few further north. Of the 64 teams there are only 11 I haven't been to and that includes York City and Boston United who both have new grounds! from ties 10-32 it's just Yate Town from the Bristol area.
Not sure which game I will do on Saturday but will likely be Dorking Wanderers although I have been to the ground as it was home of Dorking FC who folded and later Wanderers over the site.
The FA Cup gets a bit hard work at this stage it's much more enjoyable when the extra-preliminary round start early August Could be 17 grounds in draw I havent been to it could be as low as 4 grounds not done depending on outcome of fourth qualifying round. Hoping if away it is moved to the Sunday or Monday as wife had commitments on the Saturday night

Bowers & Pitsea away live on the box for me now. Just so we can have the camera pan off to the distance to a Town flag draped out of Martin's window...👍

Whoever wins through and gets us next round, can I take a leaf put of Noto's book and say "They sre a strong team and we will be hard pushed to get a result and anyway, we need to concentrate on the league".

I’m heading to Tamworth vs Notts County this weekend over our shower.
Would love to draw Tamworth away but with the team that Gary Smith has built down at The Lamb this season I’m almost certain that it would be a cup upset. Number 9 up top Dan Creaney has 10 goals from 9 games and has had scouts from higher leagues watch him already so far. Great day out on the beer to make up for the inevitable defeat mind!

Rexham at the Racecourse would be good. Not if we loose which is likely I would love it. Another guaranteed SELL OUT. You’d get about 1400 tickets. Would you sell them though after the next few defeats? 🤔 Come 4:45 pm tomorrow morale’s going to be pretty low in Shrewsbbury.

You've got the small matter of winning a game before you get chance to play us or any FL team. As you've only won 3 so far this season I wouldnt be counting chickens too soon, morale amongst the players must be pretty low after the start you've made. As for us we are a nailed on certainty to be in the draw due to our superior position in the football ladder. Would love to be on redpassion if you lose this one......... the 😃
