I think there can be a misplaced view that live music is only for young people. But there is always a cross section of ages to things I go to. Last year - Public Service Broadcasting, Laura Marling, Peter Broderick and Hatis Noit. People in their 20s to people well into their retirement.

Arguably, the finest ever female voice in that genre....magical! Regrettably, my lack of mobility inhibits my attendance at live events, even STFC ones.

Have a vast collection of sheet music books from most genres. Listen to music on Spotify that I have in sheet form. I then try to replicate the sound on my Yamaha arranger keyboard. Great fun and passes hours of time away.

In his show a few years back where he talked about his career he ended the story by producing the boots from a carrier bag.

I read that Hazel O'Connor is critically ill after suffering a bleed on her brain. Her life hangs in the balance.

My 13 year old was at the PSB gig and she wasn’t the youngest there. A Jewish male couple (the younger guy was in his 30s, the older in his 60s) were hooked out of the seats during Gagarin for dancing. The start of Im Licht was one of the best things I’ve ever seen. Great and very emotional gig.

Great and very emotional gig. Felt flat compared to their gig a few years ago at Cardiff SU when the crowd sang the Welsh national anthem to the male voice choir as they trooped off stage. But it would.
