instead i bet on all 6 fa cup sides to score tonight
they never, the 2 games i had on were both 0-0 late on

im sure they will agree, even a correct VAR decision is ruining the game

why do linos even flag for offside anymore ?

for those who didnt watch

danny ings goes through and looks offside ( not too disimilar to the sunderland goal )
the keeper saved and a lucky rebound allowed ings to tap the ball in
flag goes up
everyone including ings presumes offside

GOAL!

keep var for violent conduct and serious foul play
use the short sighted biased officials for everything else, its more fun

var still gets most decisions wrong ( as proved many times on this thread alone)

This thread highlights when somebody (mainly you!) believes that VAR got a decision wrong, although in some cases I’d argue that you’re wrong and VAR got it right. It also doesn’t highlight the many times that VAR works properly which does also happen.

If Mike Dean can look at a tv screen and think that Soucek deserves to be sent off, that suggests the problem is with Mike Dean and not the screen.

The rules around VAR need changing not scrapping, but in its current form it would be better not to have it, in my opinion.

The anomaly that really bugs me is in the FA Cup where I don’t think it should be used at all. It seems absurd that if a Premier League club are drawn away at a lower league it isn’t used but if the same lower league club are drawn away at the same Premier League ground it is. It really does seem odd.
