well done VAR correctly spotted Fabianski a hairs width off his line and ordered a retake after he saved the penalty retake = goal dont worry about the leeds player in the box, we'll skip that VARCE Attachments:

Leeds player not directly involved. i get that but the laws of the game say if an attacking player is inside the box and the penalty results in a goal the kick is to be retaken its all a joke, one petty rule for one, total ignorance for another, he might as well lean on the post what if the keeper had some sort of extentions to the back of his boots ? ;-)

We have a new first Ref views monitor and actually stays with his original decision In favour of Liverpool Was it a clear and obvious error? Don’t think so, and was the initial decision correct, yes, should never have gone to VAR in the first instance

I only ask because I switched on as it was happening and only saw briefly.

for what its worth there were 4 angles again as they showed them on sky the commentator said of one, that one looks like he could be in a bit of jeopardy they didnt show the ref that one its just becoming a manipulated joke

Viewing it again, the Fulham player stamps a Fabhinos foot after Fabhino has cleared it, definite violent conduct and he should be off

Spurs goal given, looked off side to me, I was expecting it to be ruled out It would’ve been mighty close and it’s better for the game that they do a 5 second check like that one than the usual of drawing the lines on the screen etc, but it’s maddening inconsistency. Very surprised our Liverpool hating comrade hasn’t been on pedalling some conspiracy on a potential handball that VAR didn’t even look at, and the afor-mentioned offside.

VAR has led to a massive increase in penalties. Is that what the game really wants/needs? Trouble is, this will filter down the leagues which don’t have VAR as refs will become more trigger happy, either because they’ve been directed that way, or because they see MOD.
