i get that but the laws of the game say if an attacking player is inside the box and the penalty results in a goal the kick is to be retaken

for what its worth there were 4 angles again

as they showed them on sky the commentator said of one, that one looks like he could be in a bit of jeopardy

they didnt show the ref that one

its just becoming a manipulated joke

It would’ve been mighty close and it’s better for the game that they do a 5 second check like that one than the usual of drawing the lines on the screen etc, but it’s maddening inconsistency.

VAR has led to a massive increase in penalties. Is that what the game really wants/needs? Trouble is, this will filter down the leagues which don’t have VAR as refs will become more trigger happy, either because they’ve been directed that way, or because they see MOD.
