Correct decision to allow the goal. From Law 11 (Offside) A player in an offside position receiving the ball from an opponent who deliberately plays the ball, including by deliberate handball, is not considered to have gained an advantage, unless it was a deliberate save by any opponent. I think most fans would agree that it’s not right seeing players coming back from that far offside and affecting the play. Just doesn’t sit right. I think Dean Smith might well agree with you!

I think these highly paid managers should actually know the laws of the game before they start insulting the referees.

I think these highly paid managers should actually know the laws of the game before they start insulting the referees. its a pathetic rule , and im not sure it was designed for what happened at city we've seen brilliant goals ruled out because someones toe nail is offside and yet you can be 20 yards offside, put the opponent under pressure take the ball off him and become onside its the equivalent of rugby game allowing a try from quarterback style throw to a player under the posts

good old VAR deliberatly kicking an opponent is violent conduct and a sending off offence Except rule 23, clause 3.2 if the player involved is wearing a liverpool kit then any other decision is acceptable my mate fabinho again went for the ball maybe ?

Mike Dean is shocking. Soucek lifts arm to stop Mitrovic grabbing him, accidental contact... red card after 246 slow mo replays... It does feel like certain refs look for an excuse to get involved

You knew it was gonna happen with MIKE DEAN Worst Premier League ref I have to say, this last week proves it. there should be a time limit of 30 secs for any incident, if it isnt clear then umpires call the replays should only be initiated by the ref f he thinks hes seen something and wants to see it again or again like cricket, 3 appeals for each side i'd have liked to have seen the fulham player do what he did if ultimately he was responsible for a petty red card for the record i'd also like the goal line in front of the goal made about 10 inches wide to give the keeper a bit of leeway on penalties

well well well fabinho deliberate trip in the box no card at all, no var review keeper one foot off his line no var review no change there then Law 14 - Thr Penalty Kick: ‘When the ball is kicked, the defending goalkeeper must have at least part of one foot touching, or in line with, the goal line’. It’s not clear whether the people in charge of VAR know the rules, but it’s clear that you don’t

Thank the Lord you’re not a VAR ref and we’re left with such talent of Dean and Mason

Law 12 Where a player commits an offence against an opponent within their own penalty area which denies an opponent an obvious goal-scoring opportunity and the referee awards a penalty kick, the offending player is cautioned if the offence was an attempt to play the ball; in all other circumstances (e.g. holding, pulling, pushing, no possibility to play the ball etc.) the offending player must be sent off. try watching again with your eyes open
