Aye gonna be a real test this. 39 goals Posh have scored this year compared to our 12... if SR didn’t fancy opening up against Lincoln it will be interesting to see how we setup this evening.
Posh shown that can ship a few too with their 4-3 loss at Blackpool on Sat; I hope we have a bit of a go.

We may as well go for it, if we don't score we get nothing from this game as I'm sure as hell that they'll score. Their front three have 33 between them already.

www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/sport/football/posh/have-peterborough-united-been-rumbled-can-the-strikers-keep-carrying-the-rest-of-the-team-questions-manager-darren-ferguson-must-be-pondering-1-9128152"Mo Eisa, Ivan Toney and Marcus Maddison have now scored more goals between them (33) than any other TEAM in the top four divisions bar Manchester City, Manager Darren Ferguson admitted before the game( Blackpool) that his team’s weaknesses - presumably he meant a fragile centre-back pairing, an inability to keep the ball effectively and no width - would be common knowledge around the circuit and sure enough Blackpool overcame availability issues at the back to play effectively with wing-backs, while leaving giant striker Armand Gnaduillet to cause havoc up front." you look at the league table and whilst they score a lot of goals they also conceed a lot. so free scoring Peterborough with a weak defence , play shrewsbury the team with the second worst scoring ratio in the league with a good defensive record. so far on his trips back to town i dont think ivan tony has scored but this must change at some point.

tonight we will need a battling performance from the midfield to give the defence some respit and better distribution to give the forwards more options. also a game for whalley to rampage down the wings and put some pressuer on there center backs.

Bit of trepidation about tonight if I'm being honest!
Peterborough's goal threat together with our defence presumably being reorganised with Ro-Shaun Williams being suspended is a worry. If they score first a comeback might be beyond us and not too sure how the crowd will react to that. After a tough game at Wycombe a few of the squad might also struggle with another 90 minutes and options on the bench look a little short.
Be nice to see the Remembrance marked tonight though, something the club always does well and hope any service personel at the match have an entertaining match to watch

Sporting Life have put up Teams, so I guess it's just an error.
O'Leary isn't on the bench. Injured?
