You can all crow as much as you like, but the fact remains that once again we only had 44% possession Ricketts out đđđ We had 56% possession against wycombe And double the amount of shots...still lost..stats eh?!!đĽ´

can't remember the last time a town keeper saved and held a penalty, anyone else ? good solid performance, can't really fault anyone, but perhaps Dave needs to practice tapping the ball into the net ;-) I was thinking this last night. I can't recall it happening Steve Arnold v Sc***horpe

That has to be our best performance of the season. Everybody gave their all and we stifled free-scoring Posh to a handful of chances, the best of which was engineered by a cheating t**t who managed to con the hopeless ref all night. Mind you, it keeps his dreadful run going since he left us!

You can all crow as much as you like, but the fact remains that once again we only had 44% possession Ricketts out đđđ Still had people around me moan about possession when we were passing it around. Never happy some. That just makes no sense at all, when you are up against a side that scores for fun it really doesn't do any harm at all to make sure that they're not on the ball for as much as the 90 as possible. Whether that was the intention I have no idea but I've no issue with it... Surprised at those possession stats, thought it was more even than that. Perhaps it really swung the one way during the second half...

we may not have the most entertaining team in this league but we do have a team that are getting results. if we can continue getting the points we will be a mid table team and are showing some real progression from last season. the change in formation with Edwards and whalley supporting the lone forward seems to have made a difference.

Best performance of the season so far.
The back three were awesome and Mr Williams will struggle to get back into the side on that performance.
Messrs Love and Golbourne were excellent.
We made the posh look ordinary and if that is the third best team in the league we have nothing to fear

i was intrested to see what the posh fans thought this was my favorite; "Well that was poor, if it hadn't been for the referee any one of the Posh player's could have been the worst person on the pitch, clueless" most seem unhappy with the tactics used and the poor performance by there team.
i was suprised by how poor they were i was expecting a lot more silky skills and more pressuer on our goal.( you could also argue that town managed to nulify them)

Nice to see we were responsible for Toney picking up his 5th yellow card last night.

i get passing it around till we see space to exploit, that became obvious.beginning to see the method now, keep the ball from the opposition, they cant hurt us with out the ball, then when opening opens we strike, it worked tonite
Yet still the "Gerrit Forward Brigade" prefer we lump balls up to Cummings and Whalley

Given Dave Edwards' scoring record at a higher level I'm surprised that he hasn't scored so far.

Who loses out...?
Love Williams Landell Pierre Beckles Golbourne Giles
I think itâs Williams and Giles, But I reckon Giles could be utilised further forwards in a Whaley/Edwards role

Ivan Toney was man of the match for me as he always seems to be when we play against him. He is towns undercover agent and really does do his best to help us get a result. Last season he was superb in helping us get a result at posh and last night he was falling over everytime a defender got near him. He pretended to be really getting more and more frustrated as the game went on. If he isn't still on towns payrole he certainly should be. His crap performances against us prove that he still has a great affection for us. A true town legend.

I love â¤ď¸ em. They are close relatives of the âput it in the mixer â and âget stuck inâ brigade . Over the years Iâve heard loads of such encouraging shouts , makes me wonder why I didnât write a reference book for certain people to use at Town matches . I could have been a millionaire you know.

I donât see the point of booing Toney or the reason why some do it routinely. Fair enough after his dive, although I missed it, but as far as Iâm concerned heâs nothing to us otherwise. Just seems to create a hostage to fortune but each to their own.
Is he âa player far superior to anyone loitering in the Shrews squadâ? Hahaha, not last night he wasnât. That article must have been written by a smart 12 year old.

It's getting me down, decrying anything we do as wrong. Holding the ball and waiting for opportunities is better than losing the ball over and over again.

Some supporters go to great lengths to support their club away from home but last night I was surprised to meet a young couple with their four young children under the age of six with one of them being a baby in a carry cot. A case for social services maybe but amazing support.

I was no fan of his when he was here, even though he scored a few. Spent far too long on his backside, moaning at the refs. To be fair to him, he looks a physically stronger player now and I was worried the booing might fire him up last night. You're right - he doesn't seem to react well when under pressure, as his yellow card for such a petulant foul demonstrated. He really should have got a second yellow for simulation when diving for the penalty. I didn't see it at the time and, unfortunately, neither did the officials. Still, it gave Murphy an opportunity for his heroics so all's well!

The journo made some unprofessional comments when the game was called off so shouldn't be surprised. But it will be interesting to see how many of our fans go all 'tribal football fan' and complain about his comments, yet have been saying the same about Ricketts & his side all season

Someone doesnât like losing! Peterborough have always had that air of superiority about them. Always had players who dive around like Toney and Maddison and always think theyâre bigger then they are, theyâre not a big club at all, their recent stint in the championship shows theyâre a L1 club and canât handle losing to sides like us. Toney was booed because heâs everything thatâs wrong with modern day players not because of anything else.
