not sure what fans wont / expect from Ricketts last season after four games we had two points and some fans were clamouring for askey to be sacked, this season we have seven points and narrowly lost the one game . i am confident that Southend fans would be very happy to trade places with us i tend to look at htings after 10 to 12 games we will miss pierre when he goes on international duties Are you sure? Southend got 63% possession in their last game and we only got 42%. Stupid post. They also had zero shots on target and lost 2-0... at home. I'd much rather have 42% possession, create some excellent chances, and take all three points. Can you imagine the meltdown on here if we lost 2-0 at home without a shot on target?

Thanks for noticing that... Think it was Oscar Wilde who said “irony is wasted on the stupid”...

Doesn't matter who has the majority of possession as it can be construed in lots of areas of the pitch, statistics can mean anything of what you want to read in to them, or believe. Admittedly if a team has 60 or 70 percent possession in the opponents last 3rd then chances are they will win, but 60 or 70 percent in your own half means they have much less of a chance. Its like some people see 0 0 draws as boring but they have been some of the best games you will see. Same with players, because a striker is not banging them in he is rubbish, but what he brings for other players in the team is commonly overlooked.

Preston and Swansea both had less than 50% possession in their games last night but still managed 3-1 wins.
Just saying 😉

I assume they are waiting to build a low wall or new permanent low level fence? But still not ideal. Looked like they were in the process of extending that red fencing that goes about a third of the way across the stand. Why they felt that was necessary for the visit of 450 town fans is beypnd me. They had Sunderland there the week before and I suspect it was there to stop any players running to bye-line and not being able to stop and ending up in the crowd.
