Wow, short and sweet. Must have been one heck of a fall out.

Not sure about sweet!
Quite rude really considering their service to Accrington. The way of the world these days.

23rd out of 24th when it comes to average league attendances, always going to be a tough assignment and that's even before the amount of players that have been missing from the squad due to injuries.

Garry Monk appointed at Cambridge. First managerial role since 2020 after what seemed to be quite a succession of failures.

I wonder if Coleman will now call it a day or remain on the management merry go round. I've noticed recently the increase in ex managers visiting the Meadow with various radio stations or TV companies. It was the turn of Gary Bowyer on Saturday. Other visitors on the media merry go round have included Gregor Rioch and Ken Brown. What a character Ken Brown still is. Spent five minutes with him trying to explain how to pronounce Croud Meadow so he didn't get it wrong on Radio Manchester. He still swears a lot just as he did on the touch line as a manager. Loved the old style managers like Brown, Warnock, Allison and our own John Bond. Never a dull moment.

I wonder if Coleman will now call it a day or remain on the management merry go round. Good question. He did spend some time at Rochdale but that didn't end well. He's very much been "Mr Accrington" over his managerial career, I wouldn't be surprised if he calls it a day.

I wish a club a chance of Emma Hayes before she agreed to go to America, I think she's an incredible coach.

I doubt whether he’s made the sort of money to enable him to retire at 61, Accrington certainly owe him a debt of gratitude.

I’m not altogether sure he would need to manage again to continue employment. His experience, knowledge and contacts within the game can see him earn a comfortable living acting on a freelance and consultancy basis, and there’s always punditry. I reckon he’ll be fine

A lot of comment on the Worthing forum about this. Been brilliant at Worthing, no one disputes right to want to better himself, but very strange it’s at York.  Likes to play it out from the back, and whether he’ll get time at York to implement his style with then in a relegation battle.  Also he knows south of England non league scene like back of his hand, and has many contacts, but not going to be the case at York. Dropped into the relegation places this evening.

Lost first two games in charge, both at home to other relegation candidates.

Just one side of the story. I wonder if the sacked management duo will choose to reply. I would think they need to if they intend applying for other jobs. Coleman has been a top lower league manager for many years and well respected in the game.

Wasnt quite sure what to make of it but at least the fans are being kept informed from the Chairmans side at least. Can you imagine Roland coming out with something like this 😀

Coleman has been a top lower league manager for many years and well respected in the game. He's been s**t there for three years, losses of £1.6m inside 18 months and a relegation, plus a woeful recruitment drive for League Two. He's living off his past reputation now.

That's a statement straight from the Bury FC archives.
Never wise to get on the keyboards after a few drams

Should we start a new thread just for binned off Watford managers? Ive only just realised that they'd actually got rid of another, hardly be a proper season without them sacking another scapegoat
